Guarani is an indigenous language spoken in several South American countries, from Brazil to some regions of Venezuela, and has been the official language of Paraguay since 1992.
In Paraguay it is the language of daily use for a large part of the population, since it is practically the mother tongue of most of the inhabitants of the interior of the country.
Although Guarani is a musical and expressive language, it is sometimes very metaphorical, which makes it difficult to learn when it is not your first language.
For those of us who were not lucky enough to learn it as children, the teaching of Guarani at school is inefficient, but fortunately technology gives us the opportunity to learn it on platforms like Duolingo, and locally although less didactic we can take e-learning courses from the National System of Professional Promotion, both for free.
So if you plan to visit #Paraguay in the future or simply like to learn new languages, I invite you to learn Guarani, and thus keep your brain active and fit.

El idioma guaraní es una lengua indígena hablada en varios países de Sudamérica, desde Brasil hasta algunas regiones de Venezuela, y es idioma oficial del Paraguay desde el año 1992.
En Paraguay es el idioma de uso cotidiano para una gran parte de la población, ya que es prácticamente lengua materna de la mayoría de los habitantes del interior del país.
Aunque el guaraní es una lengua musical y expresiva, a veces resulta muy metafórica, por lo cual es difícil de aprender cuando no es tu primer idioma.
Para los que no tuvimos la suerte de aprenderlo de niños, la enseñanza del guaraní impartida en el colegio resulta ineficiente, pero afortunadamente la tecnología nos brinda la oportunidad de aprenderlo en plataformas como Duolingo, y de forma local aunque menos didáctica podemos tomar cursos de e-learning del Sistema Nacional de Promoción Profesional, ambos de manera gratuita.
Así que si piensas visitar #Paraguay en el futuro o sencillamente te gusta aprender nuevos idiomas, te invito a aprender Guaraní, y así mantener tu cerebro activo y en forma.
