Greetings Geeks of the #GeekZone Community. I know you are fans of technology and applications, and that's why I'm here again today in order to make one of my last posts to complete the long-awaited challenge of posting for 14 days in a row without stopping. All to fulfill the #Hive14Challenge.
Well, the truth is that today is Sunday, and I don't have many moods to do big things or extend a lot, so I'll go straight to the point. I thought about doing a post by Liketu but as my idea is to talk about the dapp and a bug I got using it, that's why I'm here.
Liketu is one of the most popular and used Dapps inside Hive since it was released last year if I'm not mistaken. I loved using it since they fixed some bugs, however, when using it these days I noticed something I hadn't seen before.
I don't know if anyone else noticed it before. The intention of putting together this post is to get the information to its creator and developer so that later on, someday he will fix or add this feature inside the Dapp.

You see, last week I put together a post about my pets, letting you know that I'm going to be a grandmother on behalf of Pegui-Pegui and Drako. I usually put my post together in Peakd or Ecency, to evaluate how the layout would look (I take the visualization of my posts very much into account), so once I put it together over there, I set out to use Liketu's Dapp.
So far so good. I upload my photos, put the title, tags, and everything as usual, and finally copy and paste my text/content from my respective post. I post through Liketu beautifully and smoothly, but when I check my post to see if it has any errors, I get one.
So I am about to edit it. Without thinking about it, my best option turns out to be Peakd (since that's where I had already put together my post, right?). So I do, I edited it, and I changed a paragraph when I realized that I wrote automatically that I had nephews when in fact it is not so, I have cousins of some uncles who decided to be parents after they got old and I see them more as nephews than as cousins.
So I corrected my post as you see in the picture. But before correcting it, I wanted to do it through Liketu's own Dapp, that is, it would be the most correct thing to do since it is the App I am using inside Hive, right? but when I hit the Edit option in Liketu it sends me to my post with only the pictures loaded, and no text previously in its default it sent me to write a whole new post, which was quite strange to me.
I wanted to consult with someone else about it and they told me that it was corrected in both parts but that the correction was made by Peakd. To corroborate that, I went through both platforms and noticed that it was not modified in Liketu, so if you go there you will see the post with the error and if you go through Peakd you will see the edited post.
This happened to me not only with this publication but also with the others. Besides it does not have the option to save the draft automatically as Ecency or Peakd and even as InLeo. Failing that if for some reason you make a mistake inside the Dapp, you have to start everything from Zero.
This initially made me hate it because I felt I was wasting time and that I had invested so much effort to make my post look nice over there, but when I saw what was happening I had an anxiety attack and preferred to stop using it.
In closing, I would just like to add that in addition to these details I got for her, I would like to propose that you also add the Dark Mode to Liketu. That way its glowing white color wouldn't hit my eyes so much while I'm wearing it since I'm quite sensitive with my eyes.

Saludos Geeks de la Comunidad de #GeekZone. Sé que son fans de la tecnología y aplicaciones, es por eso que estoy aquí hoy nuevamente con el fin de realizar una de mis últimos post para completar el tan anhelado reto de publicar por 14 días seguidos sin parar. Todo con la finalidad de cumplir con el #Hive14Challenge.
Bien, la verdad es que hoy es domingo, no tengo muchos ánimos de hacer grandes cosas ni extenderme mucho, así que iré directo al grano. Pensé en hacer un post por Liketu pero como mi idea es hablar de la dapp y un error que le conseguí usándola, así que por eso estoy aquí.
Liketu es una de las Dapps más populares y usadas dentro de Hive desde que salió el año pasado, si no me equivoco. Y a mí me encantó usarla a partir de que solventaran ciertos errores, sin embargo, al usarla en estos días noté algo que no había visto antes.
No sé tampoco si alguien más lo notó antes. De hecho la intención de armar este post es para hacerle llegar la información a su creador y desarrollador para que más adelante, algún día repare o agregue esta función dentro de la Dapp.

Verán, la semana pasada elaboré un post sobre mis mascotas, avisándole a ustedes que seré abuela por parte de Pegui-Pegui y Drako. Yo suelo armar mi post en Peakd o Ecency, con el fin de evaluar cómo se vería el maquetado (tomo muy en cuenta la visualización de mis post), por lo que una vez que lo armo por allá, me dispongo a usar la Dapp de Liketu.
Hasta allí todo bien. Cargo mis fotos, coloco el título, las etiquetas, todo como de costumbre y finalmente copio y pego mi texto/contenido de mi respectivo post. Publico por Liketu de maravilla y sin contratiempos, pero cuando reviso mi post para ver si tiene algún error, le consigo uno.
Por lo que me dispongo a editarlo. Sin pensarlo mi mejor opción resulta ser Peakd (ya que por allí había armado mi post, cierto?). Así hago, lo edité, cambié un párrafo al darme cuenta que escribí en automático que tenía sobrinos cuando en realidad no es así, tengo son primos de unos tíos que decidieron ser padres luego de viejos y los veo más como sobrinos que como primos.
Así que corregí mi post como lo ven en la foto. Pero antes de corregirlo, quise hacerlo por la propia Dapp de Liketu, es decir, sería lo más correcto de hacer ya que es la Aplicación que estoy usando dentro de Hive, cierto? pero al darle la opción Editar en Liketu me envía a mi post con sólo las fotos cargadas, nada de texto y anteriormente en su defecto me mandaba a escribir un nuevo post totalmente nuevo, lo que se me hizo bastante extraño.
Quise consultar con alguien más al respecto y me comentaron que si se corregía en ambas partes pero que la corrección se hacía era por Peakd. Para corroborar eso, me metí por ambas plataformas y noté que no se modificó en Liketu, así que si se meten por allá verán el post con el error y si se meten por Peakd verán el post editado.
Esto no me pasó solamente con esta publicación, sino también con las demás. Además de que no tiene la opción de guardar el borrador automáticamente como Ecency o Peakd e incluso como InLeo. En su defecto si por alguna razón te equivocas dentro de la Dapp, debes empezar todo de Cero.
Esto en un principio me hizo odiarla porque sentía que perdía tiempo que había invertido con tanto empeño para que mi post quedara bonito por allá, pero al ver lo que sucedía me daba un ataque de ansiedad y prefería dejar de usarla.
Ya para terminar sólo quiero agregar que además de estos detalles que le conseguí, me gustaría proponer que también le agreguen el Modo Oscuro a Liketu. Así su color blanco resplandeciente no me pegaría tanto en los ojos mientras la uso ya que soy bastante sensible con la mirada.
Antes de irme, quiero dejarles como prueba mi post mostrado en la foto para que ustedes mismos saquen sus conclusiones. Y como dije que ese no fue el único post donde hice modificaciones, les dejaré el otro que hice hace poco, así que esto sigue pasando y nadie ha dicho nada. ¿Ustedes lo sabían? déjame saberlo en los comentarios!
