Hello technology lovers! I am glad that our friends @josecarrerag and @gorayii have opened this space to share our experiences in the technological world. As we know technology has saved many lives and has made our lives easier in many aspects and we cannot forget that it is also used for destructive purposes. However it is used, our life will never be the same and we have to adapt to new technologies every time! So taking advantage of this space I want to tell you about our latest acquisition.
Hola amigos amantes de la tecnología! Me alegra que Nuestros amigos Jose y Gorayii hayan abierto este espacio para compartir nuestras experiencias en el mundo tecnológico. Como sabemos la tecnología ha salvado muchas vidas y nos ha hecho la vida más fácil en muchos aspectos y no podemos olvidar que también es usada para fines destructivos. Como sea que se use, ya nunca nuestra vida será igual y cada vez tenemos que irnos adaptando a las nuevas tecnologías! Así es que aprovechando este espacio quiero hablarles de nuestra ultima adquisición.
This is Roku Premier, a small device that does big things. Some time ago we had in the closet a TV screen that stopped working when SmartTv's were born, we offered it to my daughter but she was not interested and I understand why. lol
The day we installed Roku on that old TV, it was like making a discovery, honestly we were skeptical that it would work, but then we were impressed! It was like we had compared another SmartTv!
Este es Roku Premier, un pequeño dispositivo que hace cosas grandes. Hace tiempo teníamos guardado en el clóset una pantalla de TV que dejó de servir cuando nacieron los SmartTv, se la ofrecimos a mi hija pero no le interesó y entiendo porque. lol
El día que instalamos Roku en ese viejo TV, fue como hacer un descubrimiento, honestamente estábamos escépticos de que funcionaría, pero después nos impresionamos! Fue como si hubiéramos comparado otro SmartTv!
It was wonderful to have a TV inside the room, for some people it is not a good practice to have a TV inside the room, but we love it. We always watch a movie or a series before going to sleep.
Now my husband can watch his NBA games from his account, that's the only thing I don't like about having a TV in the bedroom, but you can make some sacrifices! 😁
Fue maravilloso tener un TV dentro de la habitación, para algunas personas no es una buena práctica tener un TV dentro de la habitación, pero a nosotros nos encanta. Siempre vemos alguna película o capitulo de alguna serie antes de dormir.
Ahora mi esposo puede ver sus jugos de la NBA desde su cuenta, eso es lo único que no me gusta de tener tv dentro de la habitación, pero se pueden hacer algunos sacrificios! 😁
The installation is super simple, and the steps to do it are very well detailed in the user manual, it only takes a few minutes, after installed you start configuring all your accounts. It can be installed to any TV that has HDMI input. Another thing I like about this device is that it is so small and light that you can stick it anywhere on the TV, it is almost invisible!
La instalación es super sencilla, y los pasos para hacerlo están muy bien detallados en el manual de usuario, sólo toma unos pocos minutos, después de instalados empiezas a configurar todas tus cuentas. Se puede instalar a cualquier TV que tenga entrada de HDMI. Otra de las cosas que me gusta de este aparato, es que es tan pequeño y liviano que lo puedes pegar en cualquier parte del TV, es casi invisible!
One thing that made us decide to buy it, apart from a friend's recommendation, was the price. Compared to buying a new TV, this was the cheapest way to have another TV. Buying a new SmartTv screen would have cost us approximately $250 to $300, if we wanted something decent. Buying a Roku only cost us 42, and it's like having a SmartTv.
There are several devices on the market that work the same way, it's just a matter of finding the one that fits your budget and what it can offer you.
Algo que nos hizo decidir comprarlo, aparte de la recomendación de un amigo, fue el precio. Si comparamos con comprar un nuevo TV, esta era la manera más económica de tener otro TV. Comprar una nueva pantalla SmartTv nos hubiera costado aproximadamente entre 250 a 300 dólares, si queríamos algo decente. Comprar un Roku solo nos costó 42, y es como tener un SmartTv.
En el mercado hay varios dispositivos que funcionan igual, solo es cuestión de buscar cual es el que se ajuste a tu presupuesto y que es lo que te puede ofrecer.
