Hoy quiero hablar de un evento que fue hace no mucho y me disfruté en vivo y directo junto con unos amigos, evento que nosotros los gamers nos gusta ver no perdernos y para completar como no hubo E3 este año, nos emocionó más verlo para informarnos la gran premiación “The Game Awards” de este 2022.

Quiero empezar este post contando algo que paso en la primera premiación oficial con presentador, pues llamaron a Al Pacino a presentar y yo me emocioné demasiado, un gran actor **¿QUÉ HACE PRESENTANDO UNA PREMIACIÓN A VIDEOJUEGOS? **, y el mismo hizo el comentario al respecto y fue increíble mencionó que disfruta ver a sus nietos jugar videojuegos, aunque él no le agarró el gusto.
I want to start this post telling something that happened at the first official award ceremony with a presenter, they called Al Pacino to present and I was very excited, a great actor **WHAT IS HE DOING PRESENTING A VIDEO GAME AWARD? **, and he himself made the comment about it and it was incredible, he mentioned that he enjoys watching his grandchildren play video games, although he didn't get the hang of it.
Ahora pasó algo, en el premio que él le tocó dar, bastante hilarante que es que Al Pacino entregar el premio deja espacio y espera parado al ganador para que de su discurso… pues el discurso fue bastante largo, si llegó casi a 10 minutos no estoy exagerando, el discurso fue innecesariamente largo y tuvieron que poner la música de fondo y subirle poco a poco el volumen para que ya terminara el discurso, de verdad todos nos quedamos extrañados de que permitieran eso y yo no paré de repetir “Pobre Al Pacino, sus primeros premios gaming y lo hicieron quedarse parado mucho rato”.
Now something happened, in the award that he had to give, quite hilarious is that Al Pacino gave the award leaving space and waiting for the winner to give his speech.... well the speech was quite long, if it was almost 10 minutes I am not exaggerating, the speech was unnecessarily long and they had to play the music in the background and turn it up little by little to finish the speech, we were all really surprised that they allowed that and I kept repeating "Poor Al Pacino, his first gaming awards and they made him stand for a long time".

De verdad para mi lograron entretenernos todo el rato con cada cosa que presentaban o premiaban, siento que de verdad escogieron bien cada momento, chiste y hasta extra en las premiaciones porque toda la dinámica se sintió súper fluida y sin ningún momento “cringe” como suele pasar, tipo como cuando quieres hacer un chiste rompiendo una computadora sin que se entienda muy bien el mensaje.
I feel that they really chose well every moment, joke and even extra in the awards because the whole dynamic felt super fluid and without any "cringe" moment as it usually happens, like when you want to make a joke by breaking a computer without understanding the message very well.
Hubo un momento donde al presentar un juego de Crash salió alguien vestido del personaje, y fue espectacular, porque de verdad además de tener un buen micrófono para que no viera raro el que hablara, el traje era súper bien hecho, de verdad que no daba herramientas para hacerle algún “meme”. Como obviamente no eran presentaciones de juegos nuevos, sino que aquellos anuncios eran más para dar un auge, pero para informar cómo va todo, casi no hubo gente explicando algunos tráileres que se vieron, y eso fue algo fresco de verdad que, aunque llegó un punto donde era demasiada publicidad y poca premiación igual no estaba fastidioso.
There was a moment when someone dressed as the character came out to present a Crash game, and it was spectacular, because in addition to having a good microphone so he didn't look weird when he was talking, the costume was super well done, it really didn't give any tools to make a "meme". As obviously they were not presentations of new games, but those announcements were more to give a boost, but to inform how everything is going, there were almost no people explaining some trailers that were seen, and that was something really cool that, although there came a point where it was too much publicity and little awards, it was not annoying.
Valorant and League of Legends
Siempre al inicio de este evento sin presentador especial ni nada, otorgan unos premios super rápidos que son muy llamativos para mí, porque incluyen “Mejor juego eSports” y mejor “evento eSports” o algo así, donde allí League of Legends lleva años llevándose ambos premios de manera seguida cotidiana mente, y este año paso algo muy interesante que me encantó. El gran evento del que le hice un post, el Worlds 2022 ganó como el mejor evento, y ese no tenía dudas pues el raiting que consigue ese evento en cualquier plataforma para streamear es increíble, de verdad que no hay evento de otro juego que se le iguale, pero, como eSport si hay competencia.

Casi siempre se lo llevaba League of Legends porque de alguna manera, ya sea por eventos o una muy buena publicidad LoL conseguía ser el más aclamado o descargado y votado en estos premios, este año el premio se lo llevó Valorant, conocido como el Shooter de Riot Games que también es un juego increíble pero que había sido llamado “la oveja olvidada” pues Riot parecía no meterle interés al juego o el mismo nivel de marketing a este juego, pero nos callaron y nos equivocamos, pues Valorant ganó a mejor eSports por la comunidad que logró crear entre el año pasado y este.

De verdad me emocioné mucho al ver que Valorant ganó porque quise empezar a investigar, y de verdad que este juego ya está empezando a ganar un interés muy grande porque, aunque ya tiene campeonato y no logra un público tan grande como con LoL tiene una publicidad significante que también incluyen hasta streamers que en sus países son bien conocidos. A mí el único juego de shooter que me llegó a conquistar fue Paladins pero al ver el mundial de Valorant, que me emociona aunque solo tengo un amigo con quien verlo, me dio mucho más interés en jugarlo así sea muy mala.
I was really excited when I saw that Valorant won because I wanted to start investigating, and this game is really starting to gain a lot of interest because, although it already has a championship and does not have such a large audience as LoL, it has a significant publicity that also includes even streamers that are well known in their countries. The only shooter game that won me over was Paladins, but when I saw the Valorant World Cup, which excites me even though I only have one friend to watch it with, it made me much more interested in playing it, even if it is very bad.
God of War llevándose todo | God of War taking it all
Algo que analicé junto a mis amigos y queríamos ya empezar a adivinar que iba a pasar, es el hecho de quien se iba a llevar el premio del juego del año, el favorito por mucho era el nuevo juego de God of War y la pelea de que no debía ser así, es por el hecho de que ya el año antepasado a misma franquicia se había llevado un premio. En mi opinión eso no detenía la posibilidad porque eso significa que la empresa está haciendo algo bien por tener dos juegos seguidos siendo nominados, pero en mi caso yo quería que ganara y estoy feliz que ganó Elden Ring.
Something that I analyzed together with my friends and we wanted to start guessing what was going to happen, is the fact of who was going to win the game of the year award, the favorite by far was the new God of War game and the fight that it shouldn't be like that, is due to the fact that last year the same franchise had already won an award. In my opinion that didn't stop the possibility because it means that the company is doing something right by having two games in a row being nominated, but in my case I wanted it to win and I'm happy that Elden Ring won.
Elden Ring es un juego que se hizo muy famoso por ser llamado “el nuevo y más bonito Dark Soul” y eso me llamó la atención porque, yo lo admito los Dark Souls solamente los conozco por gameplays y lo que he leído no he podido jugarlos y frustrarme por no pasarlos o morir demasiado, pero si lo logré con Elden Ring. En casa de un amigo con su Playstation 4 nos pusimos a jugar bastante el juego y la verdad que es que para mí tiene muchas más cosas más innovadoras e interesantes que God of War, desde la historia hasta la jugabilidad.
Elden Ring is a game that became very famous for being called "the new and prettier Dark Soul" and that caught my attention because, I admit it Dark Souls I only know them by gameplays and what I have read I have not been able to play them and get frustrated for not passing them or die too much, but I did it with Elden Ring. At a friend's house with his Playstation 4 we got to play the game a lot and the truth is that for me it has many more innovative and interesting things than God of War, from the story to the gameplay.
Desde que el control de personaje es súper cómodo, hasta los diseños son increíblemente llamativos y más me gustó, porque yo en esos meses yo andaba obsesionada por un juego llamado “Blasphemous” donde además de buena jugabilidad, la historia detrás de cada enemigo o jefe que tenías que derrotar más todo lo que rodeaba mientras recorrías el jugar era súper interesante y llamativo, con Elden Ring me sentí así, pues mientras peleaba contra un jefe nos enterábamos quien era y como llegó allí mientras también lo acabábamos en un paisaje en particular que también tiene una historia, de verdad para mi este juego me conquistó como Sekiro llegó a hacerlo también.
Since the character control is super comfortable, even the designs are incredibly striking and I liked it even more, because in those months I was obsessed with a game called "Blasphemous" where besides good gameplay, the story behind each enemy or boss you had to defeat plus everything that surrounded while you were playing was super interesting and striking, with Elden Ring I felt like that, because while fighting against a boss we found out who he was and how he got there while we also finished him in a particular landscape that also has a story, really for me this game conquered me as Sekiro did too.

Este es el debate que que yo tengo que sé que muy pocos estarán de acuerdo conmigo, yo estoy muy feliz que Arcane ganara como mejor adaptación de un juego a serie porque de verdad es una serie que tenía todo, increíble historia, animación muy buena, desarrollo y música que en 2021 explotó e hizo saber que era Riot y League of Legends, pero aquí es donde entra una duda en mi cabeza, Arcane fue estrenada en noviembre de 2021 y ya cumplió un año antes de los premios… ¿Por qué fue nominada este año y no el año pasado?
This is the debate that I have that I know very few will agree with me, I am very happy that Arcane won as best adaptation of a game to series because it really is a series that had everything, incredible story, very good animation, development and music that in 2021 exploded and made it known that it was Riot and League of Legends, but here is where a doubt enters my head, Arcane was released in November 2021 and already completed a year before the awards... Why was it nominated this year and not last year?
No tengo la respuesta concreta, al parecer el año pasado, que no vi estas premiaciones, no estaba esta categoría incluida, entonces fue este año cuando regresó y en realidad solo me hice esta pregunta fue porque sabía que Arcane se merecía ese premio sin dudar, pero la pusieron contra otra serie muy buena que este año 2022 fue la que para mí se merecía el premio, Cyberpunk.
I don't have the concrete answer, apparently last year, that I didn't see these awards, this category was not included, then it was this year when it came back and actually I only asked myself this question was because I knew that Arcane deserved that award without hesitation, but they put it against another very good series that this year 2022 was the one that for me deserved the award, Cyberpunk.
Para mi se sintió como si una película que explotó y fue increíble en 2021, que se llevó TODOS los premios que hubieron por ese año, compitiera contra una que explotó en el año que tocaba para analizar si iba a ser increíble. Un ejemplo para que se me entienda es que The Shape of Water hubiera estado nominada el mismo año que la película Parasite, son dos películas en años diferentes pero nominadas en el mismo premio, donde la posibilidad que la más vieja, en este caso The Shape of Water gane por encima de Parasite que es una increíble película de ese año.
To me it felt like a movie that blew up and was amazing in 2021, that took home ALL the awards for that year, was competing against a movie that blew up in the year it was due to analyze if it was going to be amazing. An example to make my point is that The Shape of Water would have been nominated in the same year as the movie Parasite, they are two movies in different years but nominated in the same award, where the possibility that the older one, in this case The Shape of Water wins over Parasite which is an amazing movie of that year.
Para mí se sintió así, pero igual no es algo que pelearía o debatiría a muerte de que Arcane no se lo merecía, si se lo merecía, todo lo que ha ganado y hasta más debió llevarse, pero este premio justo este año siento que fue un poquito injusto, pero igual felicitaciones porque de verdad Arcane logró un amor y crear una inspiración muy grande y gente por favor vean la serie “Cyberpunk”.
To me it felt that way, but it's still not something I would fight or debate to the death that Arcane didn't deserve it, yes he deserved it, everything he has won and even more he should have gotten, but this award just this year I feel it was a little unfair, but still congratulations because truly Arcane achieved a love and create a very big inspiration and people please watch the "Cyberpunk" series.
De verdad que este evento fue increíble, me encantó haber logrado verlo completamente en vivo para no perderme ningún detalle, de verdad que la organización y todo lo planeado para esta premiación se vio impecable y de verdad me emocione por demasiadas cosas, gracias por leer este post y ¿Ustedes querían que ganara Elden Ring? ¿Les gustó el chiste sobre Bill Clinton?
