It's been a few years since I last played World of Warcraft properly. But now I've decided to take another look at the new world. I just miss the feeling on the battlefield or the arena. No other game has been able to give me that adrenaline rush. Let's see if that's still the case today.

So I bought the Shadowlands Heroic Starterpack. This allowed me to boost my main character directly to level 50, so I could start right away with the Shadowlands content. The leveling was okay compared to the old addons and went quickly, but for me it was still a pain. I see no challenge in completing any quests and killing NPCs. Leveling via PvP is unfortunately still not really established and would take so long that it would be moronic to do it.

Now I've freshly become level 60 and I'm trying my hand at the Marksmanship Hunter, which is currently supposed to be the predominant spec in PvP. The plethora of abilities far exceeds my action bar and puts countless wrinkles on my forehead as I try to bind them to the keys at my disposal. I've never had so many abilities to sort through before. This is going to be fun!

Es ist einige Jahre her seitdem ich das letzte mal richtig World of Warcraft gespielt habe. Aber jetzt habe ich mich entschieden mir die neue Welt noch einmal anzusehen. Ich vermisse einfach das Gefühl auf dem Schlachtfeld oder der Arena. Diesen Adrenalinkick konnte bisher kein anderes Spiel bei mir auslösen. Mal sehen, ob das heute noch so ist.

Ich habe mir also das Shadowlands Heroic Starterpack gekauft. So konnte ich meinen Hauptcharakter direkt auf Stufe 50 boosten, sodass ich direkt mit dem Shadowland Content durchstarten konnte. Das Leveln war zwar verglichen mit alten Addons ganz in Ordnung und ging schnell, aber für mich war es dennoch eine Qual. Ich sehe keine Herausforderung darin irgendwelche Quests zu erfüllen und NPCs zu töten. Über PvP Leveln ist leider immer noch nicht wirklich etabliert und würde so lange dauern, dass es schwachsinnig wäre, dies zu tun.

Jetzt wurde ich frisch Level 60 und ich probiere mich an den Marksmanship Hunter einzuspielen, der aktuell im PvP der vorherrschende Spec sein soll. Die Hülle an Fähigkeiten sprengt meine Aktionsleiste bei weitem und treibt mir zahllose Falten auf die Stirn, bei dem Versuch sie an die mir zu Verfügung stehenden Tasten zu binden. So viele Fähigkeiten hatte ich noch nie zu ordnen. Das wird ein Spaß!
