SMaP 132 - Free Theme (First Wave)

This week's theme is - Free Theme.

I decided to show the birds that arrive the very first after the winter, in the first wave of those returning.

Fieldfare.
In general, this bird is wintering, and throughout the winter they fly in large flocks through forests and cities, where they feed on rowan berries. However, in my region it is so cold for them that they still fly away, where it is warm. Although if the winter is very warm, then occasionally you can see them. But with the advent of spring, they can be seen en masse in the forests.

Greenfinch.
The same situation. In some regions, this bird lives even in winter, but it flies to mine at the very beginning of spring. And again, there are cases, such as this year, that the bird arrives very early.

Chaffinch.
These famous singers arrive early, even when it's still snowing. By the way, I took this picture standing up to my waist in the snow, in early April.

Black kite.
These birds consistently appear in early April. First, they fly over the forests, choosing their territory. And after 1-2 weeks they can be seen flying over city yards, inspecting garbage cans.

White Wagtail.
This is one of the first insectivorous birds that arrives after winter. You need to meet her near the rivers, where they quickly run along the ice floes and shake their tails. For which they were nicknamed "icebreaker".

Yellowhammer.
As far as I know, this bird, like the greenfinch, lives in warm regions in winter, but it arrives in mine at the beginning of April, however, as I understand it, only experienced adult birds arrive at this time, the rest fly when it is warm and there is no snow.
