These little birds arrive in early May, or if the weather is warm and stable, then in late April. Since they are insectivorous, it is important for them that there are already insects in the forests. However, this is not always the case. These birds are quite frost-resistant and tenacious, so it is not surprising to meet them at the end of April when there is still snow, or at the end of October when there are frosts.

In some regions, there are cases when these birds stay for the winter for some reason, for example, injuries and cannot migrate. I saw a report about this on Youtube, where this poor little bird in winter was fed nuts by passers-by in the park.
