A bullfinch in the park enjoys tree seeds

Bullfinches don't appear in our park very often. They can usually be found at the edge of the forest where there are large thickets of burdock. There they gather in small flocks and sit on burdock bushes all day long and peck at their seeds..

And I met this lonely bullfinch in our park. He was sitting on a tree branch and picking tree seeds with his beak and deftly gutting them.

I don’t know where he came from, but apparently he really liked these seeds, so he didn’t pay attention to anyone.

The day was sunny, there was almost no wind and the weather was very good for birds. No one bothered him and no one tried to take his food away from him.

I really like these birds and I always enjoy watching them.
