These are some fun guys all around us in all seasons. many times watching their activities is a lot of fun and sometimes their poses are so nice and elegant and beautiful. Last week the snow was back and then the next day rain and then again snow. the whole place was a total mess everywhere ice and slippery roads. but we still need some fresh air. so when the sun came out and shone brightly on the snow we just walk down the old stone stairs to the harbor. there we saw these families sunbathing on the deck. There were many footprints and even though I didn't know this week's theme was footprints. i took this close up for fun. which is now my contest entry. i added some more prints I have in my archive, taken by me from at various times.

This one is from December, a magpie's footprints were in front of our house.
Blackbirds made a nest in the bushes under my workplace window the big prints from humans. but around the birds, there were many footprints which show in the nest photo

I don't know which bird, we noticed it from a long distance, but because of the low light we couldn't identify it. the big prints are from a hare.
