Today I have all blue-eyed jackdaws. For a long time I thought that all jackdaws had gray-blue eyes. But last year, jackdaws with brown eyes suddenly began to come across. Their plumage is also dark, some of the wings are brown. This year, too, such jackdaws were found everywhere, and vice versa, jackdaws with light eyes are much less common. When I saw these jackdaws today, I was delighted. They are more photogenic than brown-eyed ones. And those are now not visible, apparently flew away to warmer regions.
Jackdaws live with us all year round. Now in the fall they have expanse. Just have time to collect food. There are many different seeds on the ground that have fallen from trees and bushes. Just peck, don't be lazy.
This jackdaw is brooding. A chestnut tree has just fallen next to the foliage. Jackdaw looked at him. And then the rook appeared. He began to bury the chestnut in the foliage. As soon as the rook left its place, the jackdaw was already in place. But she was unlucky - she robbed leaves for a long time in search of a chestnut, but never found it. Now thoughts are hovering in the head of the jackdaw - how could she not find him. After all, she specifically watched the rook.
The jackdaw thought and decided - why look for the chestnut that the rook hid. It’s time to work myself - to take from nature everything that she gives the birds for free.
But someone else's food is sweeter. Some thoughts of the jackdaw were interrupted by others.
What to do - teach the rook a lesson and continue looking for his chestnut, or give up this venture.
Thoughts are so intrusive. So they strive to interfere with each other. Each one believes that only she suggests the right option.
While the jackdaw was thinking, two girlfriends flew in. Together they began to look for food.
So they moved in a pair. It's so interesting to watch them.
They moved through the foliage in search of food strictly side by side, without moving away from each other.
And another jackdaw was looking for food on the sidelines of its friends. So I found the worm. Keeps it in its beak, rejoices, shows prey to other birds.
These are the local blue-eyed beauties of the jackdaws that live here. In winter we feed them, and now let them work themselves in search of food. Autumn is the richest time of the year when it is easy for birds to get their own food.
