Bridal gift at the nuthatches

Some days ago I could watch some nuthatches at a tree in the forrest of the cementary. I was lucky that the light situation was great and I saw this situation that cought my attention. I took several pictures and waited for some more action at the tree but this was all I managed to capture. It was only a matter of seconds when this bridal gift was handed over. It is always so interesting to see such behaviour in animals and birds.

Today I also thought of doing some wildlifephotography but since it is raining at the moment I am not sure if I have enough desire to go out in the rain. Also it is a lot more difficult to do some irdphotography when it is raining. A lot of birds don't come out during the rain and also the pictures don't get so good. But Sometimes I need some time in the nature to relax eventhough I probably might not get the best pictures I will probably try it for one hour or two today.
