i had some problems with my computer recently so i hope i am not too late for the blurb contest. i missed the birdbath round even though i suggested it so real quick here are a few blurbs that i for some reason or other did not delete
brahminy starlings are among the more frequent visitors to the birdbaths we have around house strategically placed so we can stand inside and view them out the door or a window. with their multicolored beaks and the characteristic eye they put on a good show when they are wet. the fledglings are priceless.
but there are many species eager to have a bath. here this red-whiskered bulbul is leaving as a brahminy starling arrives.
white-throated fantails show up in the late afternoon. maybe when they have finished their work for the day they need a bath before they feed.
that is all for now. gotta go. bye-bye
