Visiting a local National Trust venue, we spotted the Canada geese doing a circular flight around the estate. You can see their plumage a lot better when they are in flight. They are quite attractive birds.
While we were there, a swan came into land. They make quite a noise when they take off with the flapping and splashing of their long wings and feet against the water. They need a bit of a run-up to take off but are a bit quieter coming into land.
