Visiting a local nature reserve, and watching the birds feed is a nice, relaxing hobby. Having a few bird feeders in your garden is just as good. We tried to tempt the robin to take food from the palm of our hands, which sometimes they do. Disappointingly, this little one preferred its food off the gatepost.
The Great Tit is also a regular visitor to the bird tables and feeders in woodlands, parks and in gardens.
A dunnock which is a quiet, unassuming little bird does have a wild side. They are mostly monogamous but a female might choose to have two male partners! Source This photo is my entry into the #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 105 - Little Bird.
The pied wagtail is a cute little bird that wags its long tail up and down as it darts about. Trying to get one to stop still for a photo can be difficult. It's all good fun though.
