Hello Hivians and Happy Sunday
Well that is me done with my birthday week now!
It has been fun and that is the most important thing, as far as I am concerned. And I am the one that counts.
Sunday afternoon and I am just awaiting on the final two packages from Amazon.
Told you it was my birthday way. Actually one is for Mrs T so it is not all for me.
Today though is Sunday and it happens to be the last one in August, I think we can safely say that is the end of the summer that never was bar a couple of days here and there!
Satisfied Sunday
This morning was a delicious brunch cooked by yours truly and consisted of scrambled eggs and black pudding, I love black pudding.
Any other black pudding lovers in the house?
Plenty of iron and tastes mighty damn fine. Actually I had a dark beer last night as a treat. All these dark things we love, I love it.
But back to today and it being a satisfied Sunday.
As part of my birthday treats I got myself a new phone...
First time I have preordered something ever!
So when my Google Pixel 9 XL Pro arrived on Friday I was over the fluffing moon and have been spending this morning learning some of the features.
I most definitely feel like a kid in a sweet shop spending his birthday money!
I had planned getting a new phone for my birthday on the 17th but then saw the Pixel 9 was coming out on the 22nd, so I paid my dosh and preordered!
Sunday Funday
I remember being on a few platforms over the years where we used the tag #sundayfunday well today it has been just that!
I will be making a beer saturday post for tomorrow later on this afternoon but just look what I found in my beer!

Interestingly though, it does not work with body parts, I wonder so they don't get accused or sued for any of the fake porn stuff that was or maybe still is going around!
Do you love gadgets
I was talking to someone last night and yes it was agreed that I love gadgets!
Which got me to thinking about the summer that has passed.
At the start of summer I bought myself a drone.
Well I put the app on my phone and got my drone licences but with one thing and another never used it before my phone died!
So now I have finally got myself a kick fluffing ass phone I have installed the app.
Watch out for some drone footage turning up on my blog one day.
In the meantime, I am away to Edinburgh tomorrow to do a few things and shall test out the camera features for the first time!
Who says grumpy curmudgeons can't get excited once in a while!
Life moves on
So now the birthday week is over and I am a year older but not necessarily any wiser.
One thing I notice every year is that even if we change, people will still be people.
Nothing should surprise us anymore.
I always love to see the positive but sometimes with some people it can be a challenge.
Now though I need to mosey on down to the ATM and get some cash for the trip to Edinburgh tomorrow.
I most defo am old school as I like the feeling and security of cash in my pocket. What if my card malfunctions etc etc ... Yeah give me both options!
