Promised unboxing ...

What did we order to start ? There you go!

I promised you an unboxing post of the parcel containing the order I made to be able to start this new experience.
Knowing that I already have some needed tools at home, as it all started with a beginners kit.

It arrived yesterday, thus more than 24 hours before DHL said it would come, but we were at home, so no worries. I opened it and took the pictures here below.

In the box we found 5 Kilogram of soya Wax, this wax is made for candles in recipients. 100% natural as we do not want to make paraffin candles, they are cheaper to make and thus cheaper for customers, but they are full of pollutants. I will take other kind of waxes in the future, each one having its destination like, for example, moulded candles.

Here you see the tools and accessories:

• a pair of scissors for the wicks,
• a thermometer to master the wax temperature,
  -- fusion temperature, scent mixing temperature, and filling temperature are different and need to be known to succeed the perfect candle.
• 12 wicks holders,
• legal stickers,
  -- without those, it's illegal to sell them, the stickers remind the customer about precautions while using candles...
• some natural scents
  -- This time I took Cappuccino, I am a fan of it!
• and 50 wicks of the correct width.

Each object and ingredient were chosen to craft one specific candle recipe. I hope it will be a success.

36 recipients, capped (golden), 219 ml each, to host a 200ml candle .

40 Boxes for a more professional look. If I can fold them correctly, lol...
Golden and Black are the 2 main colours of the Bastion, that's why the boxes are black.

Total weight 15 Kg, and I should be able to make something like 20 candles.
I don't have enough wax to make more, the items remaining will be kept for the next round, as soon as those first candles find their buyers.

I am not sure I will use boxes every time.
We still need to make the stickers with the candle details and the logo.
I did not receive any documentation about the boxes, so the first one will be used to understand how to fold it correctly.

Now, just need to do some magic with all those things to be able to show you our first finished product 😁🐧

There are still several things we need to order, like a stickers printer, warm air gun, etc ...
But as we are not Rockefeller, we invest step by step, each step being paid by the sales of the previous ones ... And by the help of possible patrons or sponsors ...
