People like me have always dreamed of going to Hivefest. Because unfortunately for some reason, we can't make it. For a very long time, I have been thinking to attend Hivefest but as I said, it didn't happen or I couldn't make it. The bonding of the hive community always made me curious, the people behind the screen I always wanted to meet in person. Because of the Hive community, I was able to connect with people from all over the world. So when I heard that this year Hivefest is going to happen in Amsterdam, I didn't want to miss the opportunity. Luckily I am currently in the Netherlands now so it helped a lot. I didn't have to travel a lot. Probably if I was in Kharkiv Ukraine today, I couldn't attend the Hivefest today. But yes I am lucky...
When I heard that this year Hivefest is going to happen in Amsterdam, I decided to do voluntary work. So I texted @roelandp asap. I am happy that he has accepted my request...
15 September 2022. I finished my shift early and came back to my room to get ready for Hivefest. I was so excited as well as nervous also. I don't know why... It's hard to explain, to be honest. Maybe it's absurd to feel nervous after all I was going to meet a lot of people today.
I got ready so quickly, took my dog out for a walk, then fed her, and after that, I left my room for Amsterdam.
At first, I took the train from Almere Central to reach Amsterdam Central. It took around 30 minutes to reach Amsterdam Central. To reach the venue VolksHotel I also had to take the metro.
To reach the venue VolksHotel I also had to take the metro. The metro station is called the central station. It took me around 15 minutes to reach the hotel by metro. I reached the hotel around 12.00 pm.
After reaching the hotel, finally, it was time to meet a few people in person. It was really exciting. Also, we have got a briefing for the day as well.

Before getting to work, lunch and drinks were served... Thanks to Roeland again...
I took ginger ale and cheese souffle with sweet chili sauce. It was delicious...
After lunch, we prepared goodie bags. One of the best parts of this work was getting to know people before others, I was able to relate to all guests with their hive usernames before others. I was feeling emotional and happy seeing a lot of people in person.

I came back to Almere around 12.00 am... I still have a lot of things to share with you. Because I have met a lot of people and was able to talk to them. I was surrounded by positive energy and felt like happy moments are around me...
