Hive Open Mic en su semana 110 nos propone un "Abrazo Musical". Participo con la canción "De Tí, De Mí" que fuera magistralmente interpretada por Marlene. Cuento con el apoyo para esta presentación de @orlandobello en la percusión y de @carmenrivas y @hermaryrc quienes intervienen en el intermezzo con silbidos ya que, por los momentos, no tenemos una flauta o un violín que nos acompañe y de la grabación se encargò @barbyjr.
¿Por qué seleccioné esta canción? Porque habla de una pareja que dejé de serlo, de un reencuentro casual y también de una melodía, de una música que les unió en el pasado y que en este presente les envuelve y abraza y hace caer barreras. Así, cuando la dama trata con sus palabras de hacer ver como que "lo pasado quedó en el pasado" la música toca sus fibras más profundas y le hace decir lo que realmente siente, haciendo que caiga la careta o máscara que trataba de mantener. Pero escuchemos la canción en nuestra versión y también en la voz de Marlene, su intérprete original.

Why did I select this song? Because it talks about a couple that is no longer a couple, about a casual reunion and also about a melody, about a music that united them in the past and that in this present envelops and embraces them and makes barriers fall. Thus, when the lady tries with her words to make it look like "the past is in the past", the music touches her deepest fibers and makes her say what she really feels, causing the mask she was trying to maintain to fall. Con respecto a Marlene: Es una cantante nacida en la zona oriental de Venezuela, especificamente en Puerto Ordaz, Ciudad Guayana. En la década del ´80 saca su album, un LP de baladas sumamente sensuales en las cuales demostraba la belleza de su voz. Este puede ser considerado el disco más exitoso de Venezuela ya que de sus 10 canciones, 9 fueron éxito en la radio, siendo un gran éxito en ventas.1988 fue, musicalmente hablando, "el año de Marlene" en Venezuela,pero Marlene se enamoró, se casó, se dedicó de inmediato solo a la vida familiar y ni siquiera asistió al lanzamiento de su disco, que vio por televisión desde sucasa. Actualmente vive en Miami y sigue dedicada solo a la vida familiar. Les invito a buscar en Youtube sus otros éxitos ya que vale la pena escuchar su extraordinaria voz, sobre todo en temas como "Ámame" (Love me)

Regarding Marlene: She is a singer born in the eastern part of Venezuela, specifically in Puerto Ordaz, Ciudad Guayana. In the '80s, she released her album, an LP of extremely sensual ballads in which she demonstrated the beauty of her voice.
