Siyahamba es un himno sudafricano que se hizo popular en las Iglesias de América del Norte en 1990, fué escrita por Andrés Van Tonder, es una canción popular Zulú. Su título significa Caminando.
El coro que es el que interpreto en esta canción quiere decir "Caminando en la luz de Dios", sugiere un viaje en que los fieles se juntan, se apoyan y siguen una senda de fe y esperanza en la vida.
Quiero destacar que esta canción la cantamos en el marco de los 50 años de vida artística de la Coral Proyart aquí en Venezuela, coro donde formo parte en las voces de contralto. Un Concierto dedicado a Dios y donde esta canción formó parte de nuestro repertorio musical con un arreglo Coral hermoso. Le pido disculpa a todos nuestros amigos del país de África si la pronunciación no fue tan perfecta en esta presentación.

Greetings my dear friends from the Hive Open Mic and all the friends from the Hive, I hope you are well, for this week number 231 once again with you @nellynohemi to participate and share the beautiful melodies of the African country according to the theme "Afritunes". Today I bring you a beautiful song entitled "Siyahamba". I hope you enjoy it.
Siyahamba is a South African hymn that became popular in the Churches of North America in 1990, it was written by Andrés Van Tonder, it is a popular Zulu song. Its title means Walking.
The chorus that I interpret in this song means "Walking in the light of God", it suggests a journey in which the faithful come together, support each other and follow a path of faith and hope in life.
I want to emphasize that we sang this song in the framework of the 50 years of artistic life of the Coral Proyart here in Venezuela, a choir where I take part in the contralto voices. A Concert dedicated to God and where this song was part of our musical repertoire with a beautiful Choral arrangement. I apologize to all our friends from the African country if the pronunciation was not so perfect in this presentation.
