Greetings dear Hivers and Open Mic musicians! What a blessing to be able to share with you again in this week #68 of the initiative, which has such an important theme as ecological awareness.
For this occasion, I chose the song "Colors in the Wind" from the soundtrack of the 1995 Disney movie Pocahontas. This theme tells us to see the world through the eyes of the beings around us, people, animals or plants, and to respect them and at the same time enjoy the world with them. Just as there is a balance in nature without the intervention of man, we must adapt to it and treat it in an appropriate and responsible way.
¿O has visto a un lince sonreír?
¿O has visto a un lince sonreír?
Colors Of The Wind
The earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life, has a spirit, has a name
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You'll learn things you never knew you never knew
Or ask the grinning bobcat why he grinned
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountain?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Come taste the Sun-sweet berries of the earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once never wonder what they're worth
The heron and the otter are my friends
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle in a hoop that never ends
Or ask the grinning bobcat why he grinned
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountain?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
