Hello community, this week 118 the theme of the Hive Open Mic event revolves around the topic "Love Hurts" which can be translated as "Love hurts" or "Love hurts". This theme was proposed by our recent Spotlight Artist: @khaleesii.. I have selected the song "Mariposa Traicionera" by the group Maná to bring it to the event. The lyrics reveal an author who is jealous because the lady he is in love with is flighty, light and easy. He compares her to a butterfly that goes from rose to rose seducing the pistils. He recognizes that he is trapped in a situation that is like a mousetrap that does not kill him but does not set him free, and in the end he seems to decide to end the situation. He rejects the lady whom he defines as a "trition butterfly", says goodbye to her and wishes her a "little" punishment: That she fly near the sun so that she feels what pain is.
The musical band Mana is from Mexico and there are several songs with which they have crossed the border of their country. Who has not heard beauties songs like "En el Muelle de San Blas" (At the San Blas Dock), "Labios Compartidos"(Shared Lips) and many more? Definitely "Maná" is a great band and it is an honor for me to cover one of their songs.
