Once again grateful to be able to take part in this weekly musical experience, this time in week 123 with the theme "A better world for all"

Dear hivers, friends of openmic, first of all I want to congratulate my friend @daniky for having been selected to choose this week's theme, a beautiful theme without a doubt! Unfortunately, dear Hive Open Mic family, this time I bring you some bad news with deep regret; as some of you know, sometimes I work on weekends singing at parties or bars, for years I have been doing this to generate some extra income, well this Saturday on the way home after work I was mugged and they stole my guitar, thank God they didn't hurt me physically, but it's been a hard blow because aside from Hive and those little contracts I get, I don't have another job or income, so any support is greatly appreciated from the bottom of my heart.

Now talking about the song I'm playing for you this time (luckily I was able to get a borrowed guitar), when I saw this week's theme it took me a couple of minutes to think before I came up with this song, which I thought was ideal for the occasion for its reflective lyrics and in a certain way of protest, it should be noted that this was a song that came to light in the 60s, a time when many artists raised their voices in favor of a "a better world for all" however the fight for that world continues to this day and today we are responsible for leaving that better world to our children. A big greeting to all the artists who put a little piece of their heart every week in this space, where global harmony becomes a reality and world peace is a priority, without further ado, I hope you enjoy my performance!

Una vez más agradecido de poder tomar parte en esta experiencia musical semanal, esta vez en la semana 123 con el tema "A better world for all"

Queridos hivers, amigos y amigas de openmic, en primer lugar quiero felicitar al amigo @daniky por haber sido el seleccionado para escoger el tema de esta semana ¡un tema hermoso sin duda!. Desafortunadamente querida familia de Hive Open Mic en esta ocasión les traigo con profundo pesar una mala noticia; como algunos de ustedes saben, a veces trabajo los fines de semana cantando en fiestas o bares, desde hace años hago esto para generar algo de ingreso extra, bueno este sábado que pasó en el camino de regreso a casa después de trabajar me asaltaron y me robaron mi guitarra, gracias a Dios no me hicieron daño físico, pero ha sido un golpe duro ya que aparte de Hive y esos pequeños contratos que consigo, no tengo otro trabajo u otro ingreso, por lo que cualquier apoyo se agradece inmensamente y desde el fondo del corazón.

Ahora hablando sobre el tema que les interpreto en esta ocasión (afortunadamente pude conseguir una guitarra prestada), al ver la temática de esta semana tardé un par de minutos pensando antes de que se me ocurriera esta canción, la cual me pareció idónea para la ocasión por su letra reflexiva y en cierto modo de protesta, cabe destacar que esta fué una canción que vio la luz en los años 60, una época en que muchos artistas levantaron sus voces a favor de un "un mundo mejor para todos" sin embargo la lucha por ese mundo continúa hasta nuestros días y hoy por hoy somos nosotros los responsables de dejarles ese mundo mejor a nuestros hijos. Un gran saludo a todos los artistas que ponen un pedacito de su corazón cada semana en este espacio, dónde la harmonía global se hace realidad y la paz mundial una prioridad, sin más que agregar ¡espero disfruten mi interpretación!
