Saludos a todos mis colegas y compañeros de la Comunidad de Hive #openmic en la Semana N°140, con ésta agradable temática que lleva por título "The Sea (Caribbean)", propuesta por nuestro hermano @thelooter.
De acuerdo con la temática se me ocurrió la idea de interpretar para la semana del HiveOpenMic, una pieza cubana del maestro Ernesto Lecuona (Pianista y Compositor) titulada "La Comparsa" la cual es una Danza Cubana sumamente rica en muchísimos elementos musicales.
Una de las cosas que amo de la música es su universalidad, es increíble la cantidad de estilos musicales que hay en todo el mundo! Es un fenómeno que jamás podría comprender una sola persona, la enorme fuente de sonido de los 5 continentes! Es tan inmensa que es inconmensurable el poder pensarlo.
La guitarra es según Luis Ochoa (El arreglista de la pieza que estoy presentado), el instrumento musical más universal, y en éso concuerdo con él, ya que en todas partes del mundo siempre hay un rincón, una casa, un lugar, una familia, una iglesia, un bar, un conservatorio, un escenario, una reunión, una plaza donde está presente nuestra fiel compañera de 6 cuerdas.
Imaginarme éso me hace ver al instrumento como algo que va más allá de sus seis cuerdas o su figura de mujer... Es algo trascendental.
Y por éso es que me gusta tanto tocar repertorio de todas partes del mundo, y ésta vez con ésta hermosísima Danza Cuba lo he podido lograr. La música Afrocaribeña es sin duda una de nuestras joyas musicales más preciosas, Cuba tiene una gran cantidad de música de alta calidad en sonido y poesía, y éste es mi humilde granito de arena para ésta temática que estoy seguro traerá entradas asombrosas.

Greetings to all my colleagues and fellow members of the Hive #openmic Community in Week N°140, with this nice theme entitled "The Sea (Caribbean)", proposed by our brother @thelooter.
According to the theme I came up with the idea of interpreting for the HiveOpenMic week, a Cuban piece by Ernesto Lecuona (Pianist and Composer) entitled "La Comparsa " which is a Cuban Dance extremely rich in many musical elements.
One of the things I love about music is its universality, it is incredible how many musical styles there are all over the world! It is a phenomenon that no one person could ever understand, the enormous source of sound from the 5 continents! It is so immense that it is immeasurable to think about it.
According to Luis Ochoa (the arranger of the piece I am presenting), the guitar is the most universal musical instrument, and in that I agree with him, since everywhere in the world there is always a corner, a house, a place, a family, a church, a bar, a conservatory, a stage, a meeting, a square where our faithful 6-stringed companion is present.
Imagining that makes me see the instrument as something that goes beyond its six strings or its female figure.... It is something transcendental.
And that is why I like so much to play repertoire from all over the world, and this time with this beautiful Danza Cuba I have been able to achieve it. Afro-Caribbean music is undoubtedly one of our most precious musical jewels, Cuba has a lot of high quality music in sound and poetry, and this is my humble grain of sand for this theme that I am sure will bring amazing entries.
