Responding to the I will be doing one of my favourite hymn; It is well with my Soul by Philip Bliss. It's has been a while I presented a hymn here on hive. Getting to know about the week's theme, this beautiful hymn was the first song that came to my mind and I never thought twice about picking it for the week's entry.
I am a Christian, and I believe in the peace that Christ gives. The song It is well with my Soul by Philip Bliss is a song that reminds us of how peaceful our Soul should be. No matter what comes to being in our lives, we are to realise that it is always well with our souls. When we are distress, when we are in tears, when we have lost things that are so dear to us, we should as Christians realise that it is well with our Soul. Even if our body must have experienced pains form these happenings, we are suppose to be peaceful in the Soul.
My reason for choosing this song for this week's open mic is to encourage every Christian here on hive open mic going through one challenge or the other. Times might be had, things might not be be going on well with your family, their might be war in your country or even worse; but in all these let your soul be calm. The lord knows all of these and he will never allow your Soul perish. It is well with our Souls. This is my message of hope to every one of you in one difficult problem or another.
