First, let me start by saying; you see that picture of me over there? If I or anyone in my country put on that dressing, as simple as it is and walk out of the house into the streets, such person will walk in fear knowing fully well if a SARS (Special Anti Robbery Squard) officer sees you on the way, there are 70% chances you will be called and asked series of questions, which in most cases, will lead to searching you or your phone and further harassment!
They were supposed to protect lives and properties but they are rather being the criminal they were supposed to put behind bars. Okay, take a look at the picture below.
Yea, you will still be called and harrased for putting on that dressing and walking on the street. They made it seem more like it is a crime to dress well. I will be afraid to walk with such dressing on the street because I know fully well if I come across one of them, and I was called, my phone will be searched, and if they found me RECEIVING CRYPTO ONLINE AS PAYMENT FOR MY FREELANCE SERVICES OR HIVE, they would brand me a yahoo boy (fraudster). At this point in time, there is absolutely nothing I will say to make them see reasons. This is majorly because they knew the truth that they are wrong so they have no other reason to see. Rather, they just wanna extort all the cash you have on you before they let you go. And if you don't have cash, well, you'll be lucky to have an ATM on you as they will accompany you to the Atm machine, where you will be forced to withdraw.
Ohhh yea, if you by any chance lack that ATM on you, just have it in mind that you are either going to get the beating of your life, or put being bars unlawfully or worse, be killed.
This is why the End Sars revolution had began in Nigeria as there had been a lot of people who have been a victim of these circumstances - even the celebs and the government had been playing us for a fool for years. What do I mean by playing us for a fool? I bet if a child of a government is gunned down by these SARS, they would think straight. For 4 years since 2017, SARS had been banned four times. But later always reformed and name changed. In October 2017, September 2018 and 2019, SARS were banned but later reformed to be called something else like FSARS and later returned back to SARS and so on and on.
But with the latest misconduct of the SARS officials after having killed a Nigerian and ran off with his vehicle, Nigerians for the first time had come up In total unity from all across the country to protest, demanding the demolishing of the Special Anti Robbery Squad. Even at so, some peaceful protesters had been violated on the streets as the police had fired shots straight at them. (not on the air) STRAIGHT AT THE PROTESTERS! This saw some people dropped dead and thrown at the back of the truck.
Still, the Nigerian youths aren't given up as they marched down the next day and even greatly increased in numbers. This saw the ban of SARS once again in 2020 but the youths are not done yet as they had been fooled like this for three years now. The words of the government does not count anymore and the protests continues. Just of recent, we heard from the news that SARS have been reform into SWAT!
WHAT THE FUCK!
This had triggered lots of angered Nigerians and there is no telling when this will end. But it doesn't appear to be soon. No more playing with our heads and intelligence! #EndSARS now. I wanna be able to walk freely even after being paid in crypto for my services online. If I get to buy Benz due to my decent hard work, allow me drive it in peace. It is not a crime to be rich!
