The HiveNaija prompt questions really gave me something to think about. I pondered on them till I came to the conclusion that fantasy is too painful when there is no hope for the reality. It sucks a lot. So why not just ruin it? Hehehe.
Regardless, what would you do if…
•You had more than 24 hours in a day
•You had a money tree in your backyard
•There was uninterrupted power supply in your city
Time is an illusion
Honestly speaking, these are three things that would never happen but as they say, “a person can dream huh?” Yeah right! I quote 
... no time will be enough for a day because the more time given, the more work to be covered
You see, that is the funny thing about time. It cannot be saved or kept. It can only be spent and you cannot get back any second you give away. No refunds. I guess that is why we are advised to spend our time wisely.
Let us look at this practically with the 24 hours we are given. Split into three, there are eight hours and these hours are allotted to different parts of our day:
•8 hours of sleep
•8 hours of work
•8 hours of family/fun time
If you check it out, for those of us who get the full eight hours of sleep, we sleep for approximately 2,900 hours yearly and converted to days, that is about a hundred and twenty which is approximately three months. So if looked at from this angle, we spend three months on our bed more or less and many of us still cut down on work or recreational time to sleep more. Now that is funny!😂
Money Tree
I can already think of a million ways I could spend Tree Money. A lot of ways. I am sure your mind is buzzing with a long list of possibilities too. Not bad at all.
However, I cannot seem to shake off the image of me being murdered or pulverized for the sake of that tree. Nigerians can be brutal and relentless should they want something. A very good attribute that has been misused. Even the wall of Jericho with all its defenses would crumble at their hands. Stubborn People!
You are asking me to hold a money tree in the same country where a group of people sawed a rail track to achieve their evil aims?😂 No, thank you!😐 I’m good but if you get this tree, I’d like us to be friends on the condition you never visit my house😃.
Uninterrupted Power Supply
This is Nigeria. Where the power stays for a whole day with no interruptions and the citizens begin to question the political agenda behind it. I can guarantee that 50% of Nigerians who experienced uninterrupted power supply for two days imagined the worst, unless it was powered by a generator. The only thing I use power for is charging my gadgets and rotating the ceiling fan. Generators are not scarce at my place.
