The Gas Plant

This was a night that every urban explorer will encounter more than once! We went out with a few locations in mind, the first being a large house that was wide open but unfortunately it was completely gutted down to the beams. We continued on and in the next 5 hours tried several more locations. We got access to a grand total of 0, of those spots.

So there we were, 2am in rain that was getting heavier and we spotted this building. I looked it up on my phone and it was a former gas distribution plant, that had been sold to a organic fertilizer company in 2021.

This company has clearly not utilized the building or the plan fell through at some point in the last 3 years, so we ventured inside. The industrial aesthetic and open walls made for some great photos!

The aesthetic also made for a great opportunity to play with some steel wool.

Thankfully this neat old gas plant prevented us from going home without even taking our cameras out and gave us some cool abandoned industrial shots!
