Hoh & Hahne, were a company formed at the back on the 19th Century, manufacturers of cameras and photography related chemicals.
They moved into the premises in Leutzsch, Leipzig in 1929, until 1945, when the premises was expropriated by the Soviets. At the end of WW2,
The company of Hoh & Hane were on the register of nazi supporting companies, listed as using slave and forced labour during the conflict.
In 1962, the company ceased to exist, and the premises was used up until its closure in 1990 for the manufacturing of printing presses.
It is now falling into ruins, as like many listed uk buildings, no one can actually do anything with them outside of ridiculously strict rules and expensive restoration.
Didn't have much hope in getting from the front
A memorial has been set up at the main entrance to a Marco Trafficante, real name Marco Hempel, punk rocker and singer with the SHOEMAKERS and the WAYWARD CANES.
Nope nor me.
Anyways no way in round the front without attracting attention from the passing traffic on a very busy road.

April 2022, all that is left
Round the back was a different story, so many possibilities
Nope think we will pass on that one, even for me its a bit to serious a drop, walk on
Good call! a simple walk in jobbie.
I guess it must mean something to someone. It was a massive building which I walked from basement to roof, there is just a shell now, no treasure.
It was still enjoyable admiring the peeling paint, the architecture and the graffiti from the scrawling tags to the artistic attempts.
Once out of the basement it was not even too dark and dingy.
The odd crash and bang echoed at times, makes you stop and listen harder.
That is the only bit of the original I could find, loosely translated as "information point"; having worked in Hamburg for several years I really should speak the language better, but you know us Brits, lazy arsed, why learn to speak the local language when the locals have a better command of the english language than most people from Liverpool, Manchester Newcastle, and definitely all of scotland.
Going from basic, better, best as the delightful Fiona Bruce would say on a Sunday evening.
Stairways
Windows
Finally making it to the upper floors and the fire damaged roof,
The views were pretty decent
I spy with my little eye, something beginning with
"Oh my dear god alive, look at the size of that"
An unexpected bonus!
C'mon
Let's Mooch
