Poking fun at the current Hive punk NFT craze is a bit like pissing in the wind but I think that as a memer if you're afraid to go against the trends and ridicule the latest fad, then you have much less lol-ing potential than someone who can take a step back and view the crypto landscape with a more detached mindset.
I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the biggest fan of NFTs, firstly because they don't appeal to me as collectibles and secondly because I feel you must have some decent buying power combined with solid knowledge of what NFT is going to be sought after in the future. Like I said in the past, when it comes to collecting stuff I like physical objects otherwise I can't get much joy out of them. And I certainly ain't willing to spend a lot of time trying to figure which NFT is going to bring me huge profits, because I'm most likely going to buy something crap that will only cause me headaches. That being said, even if I loved NFTs I wouldn't shy away from ridiculing them a bit; people that are familiar to how I roll know that I mock everything, including myself :)
Of course there's nothing wrong with enjoying the hottest new thing around, that's quite healthy for a blockchain, it's just the amount of Punk flexing has been stratospherically high, which is also fine but funny at the same time. I mean where's talking about some very pixelated heads here, not exactly crypto Mona Lisa if you were to ask an artistic ignorant like myself :)
Anyway, I hope people will enjoy their blockchain pixels for all their money's worth because I certainly enjoy poking fun at them :D
