Hello my beautiful people ✨💕!
Many people say that smoky eyes are one of the most complicated makeups out there, however I have found that as you practice them and have patience with the whole technique the make up becomes easier, besides this one in particular is my favourite look and every time I have the opportunity I do it and I try to combine colours that I haven't practiced, so when I saw the proposal of this week's dynamic I knew immediately that I had to participate ✨, and that's why today I bring you a smoky eye look in black and purple, two colours that incredibly I had never done with this technique before. If you want to know more about the dynamics that this beautiful community brings us, here I leave you this week's 🥰.
Usually I always start my make-up with the eyes, but particularly with smoky eyes it is almost obligatory to do it this way, especially when you are going to work with the classic black as in my case. So the first thing I did was to apply my concealer but I didn't seal it, I went straight to applying a black pencil covering the entire mobile eyelid without the pencil going over the eye crease, it doesn't matter if it's a bit uneven because then you have to blend it and reapply the pencil if necessary. The pencil fulfils the function of being the skeleton of this make-up, to lay the foundations so that the shadows adhere and the look is sufficiently intense, that's why I then applied a black shadow to seal this pencil and I blended it trying not to raise it too much because on the upper part I applied the purple tone, right here is where you have to be patient and blend and integrate these two colours, also making the purple tone get lost with the colour of the skin.
With the eyes ready it's time to move on to the skin, and here it's important to clean the under eye area because this is where dark shadow residue usually falls (that's why you have to do the skin afterwards). I applied all the products on the face as I normally do, and moved to the lower part of the eye where I first applied the black pencil, blended it with black shadow and finally with purple shadow. Once the face was sealed I added all the powder products, I particularly think that this look must have false eyelashes, so before gluing them on I first curled and applied mascara. I finished the makeup with a pretty intense wine-coloured lipstick 💋.
