Los ojos Bardot fue una tendencia de maquillaje que tuvo sus inicios aproximadamente en el 2021 cuando recién comenzaba el fin de la cuarentena por Covid-19 y nuevamente se podía salir de fiestas o reuniones nocturnas, su precursora fue makeup artist Alexandra Clare quien se inspiro en los tops con escote Bardot que tuvieron su auge en los años 50 y 60. Hace unos días me tope con este maquillaje en varios post de Pinterest y como inmediatamente me cautivo, decidí traérselos el día de hoy y que descubramos juntos qué tan difícil puede ser realizar este look.
The Bardot eyes was a makeup trend that had its beginnings approximately in 2021 when the end of the forties was just beginning for Covid-19 and again you could go out to parties or night meetings, its precursor was makeup artist Alexandra Clare who was inspired by the Bardot neckline tops that had its heyday in the 50s and 60s. A few days ago I came across this makeup in several posts on Pinterest and as it immediately captivated me, I decided to bring it to you today and let's discover together how difficult it can be to achieve this look.
💋 COMENCEMOS CON EL LOOK || LET'S START WITH THE LOOK 💋
Como este maquillaje abarca más el rostro que los ojos, irónicamente, comencé preparando mi rostro con mi skin care y seguidamente aplique la base, que primero la difumine con brocha y luego con esponja para lograr un mejor acabado, y luego aplique mi corrector.
Since this makeup covers more of the face than the eyes, ironically, I started by prepping my face with my skin care and then applied foundation, which I first blended with a brush and then with a sponge for a better finish, and then applied my concealer.
Realice el contorno de mi rostro y además maquille las mis cejas. Sin sellar aun el rostro voy a trabajar las sombras, comencé delineando mi ojo y extendiendo esta línea de forma recta hasta la sien.
I contoured my face and also made up my eyebrows. Without sealing the face I'm going to work the shadows, I started by outlining my eye and extending this line straight to the temple.
Tome una brochita y polvo y selle solamente el parpado pues allí no vamos a trabajar ninguna sombra. Con un lápiz negro delinee toda la línea inferior del ojo dejándola bien marcada, además con una brocha plana fui incorporando a toquecitos sombra negra del delineado hacia abajo y sellando el lápiz negro que se encuentra en la parte inferior del ojo.
Take a brush and powder and seal only the eyelid because we are not going to work any shadow there. With a black pencil outline the entire lower line of the eye leaving it well marked, also with a flat brush I was incorporating a touch of black shadow from the eyeliner down and sealing the black pencil that is at the bottom of the eye.
Con una brochita fui difuminando esta sombra pero tratando de no extenderla mas, luego añadí una sombra morada justo por debajo de la negra con la misma modalidad, primero con una brocha plana y a toquecitos y luego difuminando los bordes e integrándola con la negra.
With a small brush I blended this shadow but trying not to spread it more, then I added a purple shadow just below the black one with the same method, first with a flat brush and dabbing it and then blending the edges and integrating it with the black one.
Por último añadí un poquito de sombra rosada pero la utilice para terminar de difuminar todos los bordes y que fuese el último toque de color en la mezcla. Ahora si selle mi rostro con polvo compacto y aplique rímel. Finalmente pegue pestañas postizas y utilice un labial nude.
Lastly I added a little bit of pink shadow but I used it to finish blending all the edges and to be the last touch of color in the mix. Now I sealed my face with pressed powder and applied mascara. Finally I glued false eyelashes and used a nude lipstick.
