I was starting the idea with doing a watercolor-style makeup on the eyelid. I took makeup that is activated with water and I started by outlining and with a cotton swab I blended downwards and did so on the entire eyelid.
Then the idea of the lamp appeared and I began to draw as a kind of green lava, and on the other side a psychedelic eye that I thought would look good, the last thing was to polish the makeup.
I've been putting off doing makeup, even though I've wanted to, but I'm really not at my best. I'm currently having some treatments, it's nothing serious, don't worry, but soon I'll be back stronger than ever, and I'm happy about it. Just two more months.
Well, now the reason why you came to see the photo, I was inspired by those lava lamps, I had been thinking about having one for a long time and yes I have seen them in person, I think they are a very cool and retro thing.
I used the colors that I used to see in cartoons when a lava lamp appeared, plus I thought it would be a bit psychedelic, more my style. What do you think? This was my first attempt and an original idea, possibly in the future I'll make it much better.
