I go back and forth thinking this dude has one dance style and then actually when he does clips like this with his girlfriend I see art. The wonderful unison of what happens when two people do stuff together, the way their own collective freedom and expression takes over and what is left is something much more complementary to the shared experience.
That’s how I see us when we are together, physically or remotely, we complement each other, when the other is slow, the other goes fast, when the other is abundant in creativity the other get’s inspired — when one is focused up the other is rustling up food and treats outside of the periphery.
I was so pumped yesterday that ‘systems’ actually worked out yesterday after all the hassle he had with the other ‘systems’ — that fast turnaround, getting out there, doing a job, getting paid, tips and all that, super cool. I know he’s gonna crush that and if for nothing else it’s on his terms.
Just shows you where you guys got that determination to turn things around from ya know? Makes me feel thankful that you have that in your DNA at core level that you wanna keep ramping that up, stepping it up, certainly how I feel when I get to a machine and survey the digital landscape of ‘what do I wanna work on today’ creativity runs while then.
Not sure why I wasn’t celebrating april enough so thanks for the headsup on that, I think I’d got so into things just building up and up that when you get that monthly reset it’s a bit of deflation when you see a graph change so suddenly and it clears the board, I’d been going to the same url each day and then boom, it’s not the stats you wanna see kinda thing — all good, lessons learned, more than anything, users actually engaging, love that!
Trying to work it out but I think it’s week six now right that we have been in isolation, I guess like 40/50 days, certainly doesn’t feel like that to me, feels like a couple of weeks, I’ve lost all track of time I think, when days blur into weeks and well, here we are the month of april faded into may.
As you know the way I see things is the longer that the days move forward, the more chance that we discover more about the virus, the more chance of vaccines, the more the ‘systems’ adapt to the needs and requirements, you know some people are heavily stocked up right now because they had the resources to do so — boy over here just trying to get a couple of sacks of 10kg atta flour and some gram flour in the mix! :)
Was kinda miffed I think as well that the ‘custom dock’ feature was not built into the latest obs for mac, i would have really liked to have given that a proper test because I know I would end up tinkering with the logo and the css layout position — it’s still something I could end up doing to make custom layouts for. I’m like you on that score, chief tinkering.
So cool that you found out about those soy curds this week and they looked amazing, I was so interested in this ‘clean/fresh’ chinese taste you were talking about I can see you getting a box of that stuff if the price is right in the months to come and I can’t wait to try that with ya.
Retail is gonna change massively I think, it’s already changing, the high street is surely gonna be totally different when things get lifted and we are already seeing businesses adapt to the way they serve food or do deliveries.
I think companies that put in place a really awesome ‘sanitising’ plan for their delivery, drivers and concierge packages will do really well in the next few years. It’s certainly not over by a long shot and like we have spoken about with the different waves of this stuff, it’s about working around it.
So pumped about your new stuff, been great to watch you flex on the website stuff, stores and I know that next few months jump into setting up things properly, with an LLC and well just making connections, using social, I’ll wanna jump in and help with graphics, video and animations and some social media for sure — inspiring to see you take that from gem of an idea and then test it, pad it out, research and apply. Super awesome love.
Right, time for my first coffee of the day bae. If you were here we would be heading out, grabbing mini, buying treats, enjoying time together, doing a shop, playing games, listening to music, debating stuff and then when it was time, getting together a little meal for the both of us, getting under the sheets, getting the raspberry pi going and getting on some flicks for us to watch together.
Best times. Will never let them go, always gonna be with me until the end of time itself. I’ll be up there, navigating the universe with those times keeping my very embers of my soul alight! Time to keep levelling up and stacking my love.
