Amigos de Hive, les extiendo un afectuoso saludo acompañado de un sincero deseo de que se encuentren bien. Hoy me sumo a la iniciativa convocada por esta maravillosa comunidad. Debo felicitarlos porque están realizando un trabajo impecable. Las tres fotografías de esta iniciativa son muy inspiradoras, sin embargo, la que más me llegó al corazón fue la primera. Así que realicé una historia ficticia cargada de mucho sentimiento y grandes lecciones. Espero que les guste.
Llevo una hora caminando por los alrededores de un hermoso campo al que mis padres me han sacado a pasear, el aire es puro, hay muchas flores y las frutas de los árboles son deliciosas. Quisiera decir que todo es bonito pero sería decir una gran mentira.
Mi corazón está muy dolido, he podido contemplar la triste mirada de muchos animales que han sido privados de su libertad. Pequeñas ovejas, cabras, becerros, tienen el cuerpo muy caliente. Llevan mucho rato llevando sol, no porque quieren sino porque están amarrados. De seguro están sedientos, cansados y aturdidos.
Después de ver a varios animalitos de esta manera me conmoví mucho y sentí ganas de llorar. Movida por la compasión me acerqué a una linda oveja y al tocarla, esta me miró con mucha ilusión, fue como si pudiera leer a través de sus ojos una hermosa carta llena de alegría y amor que decía:
"Gracias por acariciarme, agradezco mucho ese bonito gesto, hacía mucho rato que nadie me tocaba con tanta ternura. Debo decirte que eres una niña hermosa pero no me gusta la tristeza que despliegan tus lindos ojos. Nos sientas pena por mi, solo soy una oveja que ha sufrido un poco, sin embargo, soy feliz.
Le proporciono a mis dueños mucha leche y créeme, cuando los veo disfrutar de algo que yo misma produzco, mi felicidad es grande. Ellos no están conscientes de muchas cosas pero mi felicidad jamás la colocaré en manos de otros, mientras yo pueda dar, lo haré con generosidad aunque ellos no lo agradezcan de la forma en que me gustaría.
Quédate tranquila niña hermosa, la vida es un contraste para todos los seres vivos. Yo estoy atada, pero mi corazón y mi espíritu son libres, en base a esa libertad, elijo ser feliz sin importar los factores externos. Sé que te encantaría verme libre, no solo a mi, sino a todas mis compañeras, así que permítete vislumbrar en tu imaginación ese día en el que haya libertad absoluta porque sin duda llegará. Sin embargo, recuerda siempre que lo principal es que seas libre en tu alma y espíritu. Por favor, regalame una sonrisa y piensa detenidamente en lo que acabas de escuchar".
Fue impresionante percibir la ternura y el despliegue de sabiduría de aquella linda oveja. Al leer su mirada me quedé tranquila y entendí que aunque el mundo puede llegar a ser muy cruel, solo nos lastimará si se lo permitimos.
El tener contacto con la naturaleza me ha ayudado a sobrellevar muchos problemas. Ya han pasado más de quince años que tuve contacto con aquella oveja tan sabia y aún resuenan en mis oídos el hecho de que la auténtica libertad es la que proviene del corazón. Jamás pensé que el acercarme a aquella ovejita me iba a reportar tantas lecciones de vida.

I've been walking for an hour around a beautiful field where my parents have taken me for a walk, the air is pure, there are many flowers and the fruits on the trees are delicious. I would like to say that everything is beautiful but that would be telling a big lie. *** My heart is very hurt.***
My heart is in pain, I have been able to contemplate the sad look of many animals that have been deprived of their freedom. Small sheep, goats, calves have very hot bodies. They have been carrying the sun for a long time, not because they want to, but because they are tied up. Surely they are thirsty, tired and stunned.
After seeing several animals in this way, I was very moved and felt like crying. Moved by compassion, I approached a beautiful sheep and when I touched it, it looked at me with great enthusiasm, it was as if I could read through its eyes a beautiful letter full of joy and love that said: "Thank you for caressing me, I am so grateful to you.***
Thank you for caressing me, I am very grateful for this beautiful gesture, it has been a long time since anyone touched me with such tenderness. I must tell you that you are a beautiful girl but I don't like the sadness that your pretty eyes show. Don't feel sorry for me, I'm just a sheep that has suffered a little, but I'm happy.
I provide my owners with a lot of milk and believe me, when I see them enjoying something that I can produce myself, my happiness is great. They are not aware of many things but my happiness I will never place in the hands of others, as long as I can give, I will do it generously even if they do not thank me the way I would like them to.
Stay calm beautiful girl, life is a contrast for all living beings. I am bound, but my heart and spirit are free, based on that freedom, I choose to be happy regardless of external factors. I know you would love to see me free, not only me, but all my companions, so allow yourself to glimpse in your imagination that day when there is absolute freedom because it will come. It was impressive to perceive the tenderness and the display of wisdom of that cute sheep. When I read her gaze I felt calm and understood that although the world can be very cruel, it will only hurt us if we allow it to do so.
Having contact with nature has helped me to overcome many problems. It has been more than fifteen years since I had contact with that wise sheep and the fact that true freedom comes from the heart still echoes in my ears. I never thought that getting close to that little sheep would bring me so many life lessons.
