Hello, beautiful community and host mopiano@mopiano, greetings. I am home alone as my husband went to see his grandchildren, and I'm in the mood to paint rocks. A few days ago, I sketched some figures. But with work, cooking, and gardening, I was too lazy to paint. Today, while checking the community page, I saw a couple of very nice and impressive posts. However, after seeing avdesing@avdesing's beautiful dolphin, I decided to not paint the dolphin I had previously sketched. Instead, I started with a hedgehog, a creature that is always around our garden. sorry to say, it has been eating all my newly growing vegetables, but we still like it.

On this side, I made some different fish.

Started with the hedgehog.

First thought late it was like back and white with pencil drawing. But after changed my mind and started making strokes with black and brown colors the rock was painted in white so some details were corrected with white. The rock was rough so there were uneven strokes.

It was good-looking without background.

However, I used the sponge technique for a greenish background.

And it has been done. Kind Hedgehog

The other side was empty after wiping the dolphin. Thinking about something there I remember a long time back when I joined Hive I entered in qurators@qurators art contest painted fish just remember the fish shape I drew that on Rock to make extra kind.

Started painting with brown. On a rough surface of rocks, my brushes became dull. for the fine lines, I have to get new ones and they are not available in our small town.

Finished with light brown and some small details. used a sponge to fill the surroundings with blue-white colors.
