Hola chicos ¿Qué tal? En esta oportunidad les vengo a hablar sobre mis días en el taller o la rectificadora.
A veces la gente puede creer que siempre estamos trabajando, recibiendo trabajo, entregando, pero hay días en los que solo pasamos sentados o limpiando nuestra área de servicio, mientras esperamos que llegue algún trabajo. Hay meses que hay más que hacer que otros, así mismo semanas más fuertes y otras mucho más suave.
Mi área de trabajo en la rectificadora es la de "Servicio de Cámaras de Motor", a esta área aquí en Ecuador se le llama: "Área de Cabezotes", ya que así les dicen a las cámaras jeje. En las fotografías muestro una Cámara de motor, le hice un servicio regular: quitarle la grasa, lavarlo, cambiarle guías, asentar las válvulas, un proceso que lleva su tiempo por lo laborioso que es.
Por lo general salgo muy temprano de mi casa, luego de desayunar y dejar a mi hija mayor en la escuela. Entonces al llegar al trabajo me cambio y comienzo a hacer estos servicios de cámaras de motor. Enero es un mes bajo de trabajo, a diferencia de lo que fue diciembre, pero siempre llega algo para hacerle rectificación, bien sea en mi área o en la de mis compañeros.
Una vez finaliza la jornada laboral del día, me dispongo a bañarme en el taller y quitarme la mayor cantidad de grasa posible, para luego ponerme la ropa limpia y agarrar un bus que me lleva camino a mi casa. Durante ese viaje de retorno pienso en lo que pudo quedar pendiente para el siguiente día y también aprovecho a descansar de mi jornada.

Sometimes people may think that we are always working, receiving work, delivering, but there are days when we just sit around or clean our service area while waiting for work to come in. There are months when there is more to do than others, as well as weeks that are heavier and others that are much lighter.
My work area in the rectifier is the "Engine Cameras Service", this area here in Ecuador is called: "Área de Cabezotes", because that's how they call the cameras hehe. In the pictures I show an engine cam, I did a regular service: remove the grease, wash it, change guides, seat the valves, a process that takes time because of how laborious it is.
I usually leave my house very early, after breakfast and dropping my oldest daughter off at school. Then when I get to work I change and start doing these engine cam services. January is a slow month for work, unlike December, but there is always something to rectify, either in my area or that of my colleagues.
Once the day's work is over, I get ready to take a bath in the workshop and remove as much grease as possible, then put on my clean clothes and take a bus that takes me on my way home. During the return trip I think about what could have been left pending for the next day and I also take the opportunity to rest from my day.
