It turns out that yesterday I was taking my mom to some medical therapies, and when I went to drop her off there was nowhere to park but as I was just dropping her off I stopped a few seconds behind some cars for her to get out of mine, when she opens the door and is about to get out I realize that one of the cars was backing up and was not seeing that I was with my car stopped, I tell my mom to close quickly and started, however, I reached the rear bumper and hit me.
When I talked to the driver, he acknowledged his fault in the accident, and I was able to arrange with him the repair of the damaged part, since he has a relative with a brass and paint shop, which with only sanding, cleaning and polishing he was able to solve the incident to a great extent.

Resulta que ayer iba llevando a mi mamá a unas terapias médicas, y cuando la fuí a dejar no había donde estacionarme pero como sólo era dejarla me pare unos segundos detrás de unos carros para que ella se bajara del mío, cuando ya abre la puerta y está por bajarse me doy cuenta que unos de los carros estaba retrocediendo y no estaba viendo que yo estaba con mi carro parado, le digo a mi mamá que cierre rápido y arranco, no obstante, me llegó al parachoque trasero y me chocó.
Al hablar con el conductor, el mismo reconoció la culpa que tenía en el accidente, y pude concertar con él el arreglo de la pieza que dañó, ya que tiene un familiar con un taller de latoneria y pintura, el cual con sólo lijar, limpiar y pulir pudo solventar en gran parte el incidente.

Someone once told me that rear-view mirrors are the driver's best friend, since when we are on the road we are not only managing our own but in a certain way that of others, since we have to be very attentive to what they are doing so that we are not harmed, as happened to me.

Podemos ser excelentes en el volante pero es que el detalle que hay que tener en cuenta es que no somos sólo nosotros sino que hay otros que van por la carretera lamentablemente sin los debidos cuidados y precauciones.
