Steps to change a tire
Find a safe place:
Park the car on a flat surface and away from traffic.
Pasos para cambiar un >neumáico
1Encuentra un lugar seguro:
Estaciona el automóvil en una >superficie plana y lejos del tráfico
2 Loosen the nuts:
Use the crosshead wrench to loosen the nuts on the spiked tire ,Do it counterclockwise, but do not remove them completely yet. Loosen them all a little, it is important that both loosening and tightening the nuts must be in the form of a cross.
2 Afloja las tuercas:
Usa la llave de cruceta para aflojar las tuercas del neumático espichado ,Hazlo en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj, pero no las retires completamente aún. Afloja todas un poco, es importante que tanto aportando y aflojando las tuercas tiene que ser en forma de cruz
3 Lift the vehicle:
Place the jack under the support point of the vehicle ,Use the jack to raise the car enough so that the tire is in the air.
3 Levanta el vehículo:
Coloca el gato debajo del punto de soporte de el vehículo ,Usa el gato para levantar el automóvil lo suficiente para que el neumático esté en el aire
4 Remove the nuts:
Now completely remove the nuts you loosened earlier.
4 Retira las tuercas:
Ahora retira completamente las tuercas que aflojaste antes.
5 Remove the tire:
Make the tire toward you and pull it off the axle.
5 Quita el neumático:
Hagarra el neumático hacia ti y sácalo del eje.
6 Fit the spare tire:
Lift the spare tire up and place it by aligning the holes with the bolts.
6 Coloca el neumático de repuesto:
Levanta el neumático de repuesto y colócalo alineando los agujeros con los pernos.
7 Fit the nuts:
Replace the nuts and hand tighten them in a crisscross pattern.
7 Coloca las tuercas:
Vuelve a colocar las tuercas y apriétalas a mano en un patrón cruzado
8 Lower the vehicle:
Use the jack to lower the car gradually until the tire touches the ground.
8 Baja el vehículo:
Usa el gato para bajar el automóvil gradualmente hasta que el neumático toque el suelo
9 Tighten the nuts:
With the vehicle on the ground, use the cross wrench to tighten the nuts completely,also in a crisscross pattern.
9 Aprieta las tuercas:
Con el vehículo en el suelo, usa la llave de cruceta para apretar las tuercas completamente,también en un patrón cruzado.
10 Gather your tools:
Store the flat tire and tools in your vehicle.
10 Recoge tus herramientas:
Guarda el neumático pinchado y las herramientas en tu vehículo.
