Star Players: Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, Joao Felix

Portugal hasn't been in the greatest form leading into the World Cup. They were stunned at home by Serbia to qualify for the World Cup and they had to do it the hard way, beating Turkey and North Macedonia in playoffs to qualify.

Their recent form aside, Portugla have an an abundance of talent across the entire pitch. Bruno Fernandes will be one of the most important pieces of the lineup. His creativity and goal scoring will dictate just how far Portugal can progress and as he's in the prime of his career, he's odds-on to do it.

Cristiano Ronaldo isn't getting any younger and there's every chance this could be his last ever opportunity to win a World Cup.

World Cup Group: Group H - Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, South Korea

Prediction: Cristiano Ronaldo will be 37 years old at the World Cup but that's OK. Joao Felix is one of the best young players in the world. The Man United and City combo of Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva is deadly. Add to that Diogo Joto who will look to attack the space behind defensive lines.

Joao Cancelo, Nuno Mendes and Raphael Guerrerio offer amazing wing-back options. Portugal are absolutely stacked. Rafael Leao, Goncalo Geudes and of course, Ronaldo, can attack the wings.

The glaring weakness for Portugal is at centre-back, with Pepe who will be 39 years old in Qatar who is partnered by Danilo Pererira who usually played at defensive midfield. The best way to counter it is to just keep scoring goals and that's what they should be able to achieve. There's just too much talent across the pitch and they'll overwhelm most opponents.

They'll go very far in Qatar.
