FIRST ROUND
Manchester City made Liverpool almost motionless throughout the first half. In fact, Liverpool did not record a single shot on target at all. The score 0-0 lasted until halftime.

Liverpool finally managed to score the first goal through Sadio Mane's goal in the 59th minute. Starting from Salah's acceleration on the right side, Mane, who got a pass from a breakthrough error, fired a first time shot which successfully shook the opponent's net.

Manchester City were able to equalize again, this time through De Bruyne's 81st-minute shot which hit Joel Matip and sent the ball into Alisson's direction.
