There were many remarkable moments throughout the just finished World Cup that Qatar held, but Will be choosing what I think are the most memorable ones. I do have a question for you though, yeah you. Is the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar the best World Cup final ever? Please feel free to respond to this in the comments area.

Without further ado, let's get started with my favorite World Cup 2022 memory;

SAUDI ARABIAN DEFEATS ARGENTINA

Argentina, as we all know, is the favorite to win While Saudi Arabia is the underdog in this match.
But the Arabians have once again shown that anything can happen in football. The Arabians won the match by a score of two goals to one. After the game, there were many rumors about whether Messi would do well in the competition. He put those rumors to rest in the following game and went on to win the World Cup.

DISPUTES OVER JAPAN'S GOAL VS. SPAIN

There was a dispute over whether the ball had crossed the line before it was transferred to Tanaka, who eventually scored the goal, in a close game when Japan and Spain were equal at 1-1. The goal was counted following a VAR review utilizing the goal line camera image. Some people contend that the goal shouldn't have been counted, but who are they to doubt VAR? In order to avoid controversies like this, VAR needs to be more accurate. I wouldn't be shocked if a similar situation occurred and the goal was disallowed by VAR. Who knows, perhaps Spain might have performed better if the goal had not been counted.

JAPANESE CLEAN-UP STADIUMS

I think Japan performed fairly, reaching the round of 16 and only losing to Croatia on penalties. Japan also sent a message about cleanliness to the entire world. After every game, Japanese Fans clean up the messes the made while their players clean up the dressing room. Despite not winning the award, Japan's efforts to maintain cleanliness will be remembered.

THE HEADER THAT DID NOT TOUCH CRISTIANO RONALDO'S HEAD

Ronaldo received a cross from Bruno Fernandes while the game was still scoreless. Ronaldo did his best to put the ball in the goal, and it eventually did. Ronaldo celebrated the goal, thinking he had scored, until FIFA used the connected ball technology contained in the ball to cancel it out and give Bruno Fernandes credit for it. Some claim that because his hair touched the ball, it must be a part of his hair. This led to a lot of controversy.

CROATIA DEFEATED BRAZIL

Due to their combination of talented players, Brazil was the favorite to win the tournament prior to the start of the competition. However, Croatia ended Brazil's run to the World Cup semifinals by eliminating them on penalties following extra time. No one anticipated this, even you.

The second and final parts of this blog will be published shortly after this one. I am happy to be back after being absent for almost four months due to events beyond my control. I will sincerely appreciate your support and thank you for reading.
