Estamos listos para otra semana de buen fútbol de la Premier League. La semana pasada nos dejó algunas sorpresas, como la derrota del Liverpool ante el Nottingham Forest. Casi nadie podÃa pronosticar tal cosa. La derrota del Tottenham ante el Arsenal, en uno de los partidos más importantes de la jornada, es otra sorpresa que nos dejó la fecha, y estoy seguro de que esta jornada también nos traerá muchas emociones y buen fútbol. Al final, revisaremos algunos de los partidos más interesantes de la fecha.
As we already know, I’m here to talk about Chelsea, who this week visits West Ham tomorrow, Saturday, for the fifth matchday of the Premier League. We have a London derby this week. Chelsea is looking for their third win of the season, one that would bring them closer to the top of the table. The Blues are looking to build a cushion of points while facing teams that aren’t considered big yet, in order to build momentum and feel confident that they can compete with any team in the league. West Ham has not started well this season, as they’ve only managed one win in the four games played so far. It could be the perfect opportunity for them to turn things around, but I hope that doesn’t happen, at least not tomorrow.
Como ya sabemos, vengo a hablar del Chelsea, que esta jornada visita al West Ham mañana sábado, por la quinta jornada de la Premier League. Tenemos un clásico londinense en esta fecha. El Chelsea busca su tercera victoria del campeonato, que los acerque más a los puestos altos de la tabla. Los Blues buscan crear un colchón de puntos mientras enfrentan equipos que aún no son tan grandes, y asà poder ir creando un impulso que les permita sentir que pueden competir contra cualquier equipo en la liga. El West Ham no ha empezado bien esta temporada, ya que solo suma una victoria en las cuatro fechas jugadas hasta el momento. PodrÃa ser la oportunidad perfecta para que cambien su mala racha y giren las cosas a su favor, pero espero que no sea asÃ, al menos no mañana.
As I said, this Chelsea team will look to keep growing, and I hope we’ll see more clearly what Enzo Maresca wants to implement. I expect to see much more of the football that the coach envisions. Against Bournemouth, they struggled to create clear goal-scoring opportunities. The midfield was very disconnected from the attack, and they didn’t provide the forwards with enough balls. Defensively, they had a tough time with Bournemouth’s forwards, who from the first minute showed they wanted to win, but fatigue caught up with them.

Contra el Bournemouth les costó muchÃsimo crear oportunidades claras de gol. El mediocampo estuvo muy desconectado del ataque, no proveyó balones a los delanteros, y en la parte defensiva hubo muchos apuros con los delanteros del Bournemouth, quienes desde el minuto 1' demostraron que querÃan ganar el juego, pero el cansancio les pasó factura.
However, I believe the Blues will secure a comfortable win against West Ham, who I think will suffer another loss. Chelsea will have important players back, who missed the last match due to injury. The first one is Enzo Fernández, who was absent, and Renato Veiga had to be improvised, struggling a lot in the playmaking aspect, although he was solid in containing the rival's attacks. Another returning player is Malo Gusto, who has already earned a starting spot on the right flank due to Reece James' recurring absences. Now it’s James who will have to fight for his position. Romeo Lavia is also back, and this team desperately needs him to stay healthy and return to the field. We hope to see him play at least 20 or 25 minutes without overexposing him, as his recovery must be handled carefully. Everything else seems normal and fine, so I believe the Blues will win by more than three goals tomorrow. I predict a 4-1 victory for Enzo Maresca’s side.

Now let’s take a look at the other matches of the week. Tottenham vs Brentford will be a good chance for Tottenham to pick up points. I believe Liverpool will have an easy win over Bournemouth, who I don’t think will put up much of a fight. I don’t see Crystal Palace getting points against United. And the match of the week, which could go either way, is City vs Arsenal. Guardiola’s City is slightly favored, but Arsenal could pull off a surprise. We’ll see what happens.
