Bu yıl ki Şampiyonlar ligi grup kura çekildi. Ülkemizi temsil eden tek Türk takımı olan Beşiktaş C grubunda mücadele edecek. Beşiktaş'ın C grubundaki rakipleri Borussia Dortmund, Sporting ve Ajax oldu. Kağıt üzerinde güzel bir kira oldu ancak bu seviyede kolay maç olmacağını önceki yıllarda terübe ettik. Kolay maç dediğimiz nice maç bize ızdırap olurken zor dediğimiz bir çok maçta iyi oyun iyi sonuç aldık. Beşiktaşımızın herkesin takdirini kazanacak oyun ile rakiplerine mağlup etmesini ve gruptan çıkmasını canı gönülden diliyorum.

This year's Champions League group draw has been drawn. Beşiktaş, the only Turkish team representing our country, will compete in Group C. Besiktas' rivals in Group C were Borussia Dortmund, Sporting and Ajax. It was a nice lease on paper, but we have experienced in previous years that it will not be an easy match at this level. While many matches that we called easy matches made us suffer, we got good results in many matches that we called difficult. I sincerely hope that Beşiktaş will defeat their opponents with a game that will be appreciated by everyone and leave the group.
