Leeds were in 16th place with 3 points ahead of Burnley and 5 points ahead of Everton. Burnley won on Saturday in a match with many emotions against Watford 2-1, Watford won the match and approaching the end of the match it seemed that they would win but Burnley managed to win with goals from Cork and Brownhill in the 83rd and 86th minute respectively and managed to get a very important result that allows them to remain in the race to avoid relegation. Personally, I thought that with the bad performance that Everton had been showing, they would have no chance against this electric Chelsea but they showed that despite the bad results they are not willing to lose the category. Now the fight to avoid relegation is more even than ever and Everton, who in my opinion would be relegated, managed to get 3 golden points that put them in a better situation. On the other hand, it seems to me that the biggest winner of this matchday is Burnley who after 4 consecutive matches without losing, including 3 consecutive victories, now depends on themselves to avoid relegation.

The outlook for all 3 teams is quite difficult as all three have games against top 5 teams that they cannot afford to lose if they want to stay in contention. Leeds have 4 games left, one of which is against Chelsea and the other against Arsenal, while Everton have to face Arsenal and also play against Leicester, who despite not being in the top 5, are a very tough opponent. Finally Burnley, perhaps the team with the most accessible fixture, still has to face Tottenham. So as you can see all 3 still have tough games to play. I think that the team with the most complex fixture is Leeds who after having improved in their first performances with their new coach Marsch have decreased their performance and I think that they will be the team that ends up being relegated in this fight.
