Source

Manchester City continues their campaign to defend their EPL title last night as they faced Leeds United away from home in the Matchday 16 of the English Premier League, Manchester City has been good this season playing 15 games, winning 11 matches, drawing 2 and losing 2 matches in their campaign to defend their titles Manchester City's win yesterday put them back in the second spot in the EPL table with 35 points and are 5 points behind Arsenal who is the League leader.

Manchester still has what it takes to win the title. I believe before the season ends they will take the first spot in the EPL table and eventually win the title Back to the match between Leeds United and Manchester City, the first 44 minutes of the first half saw no goals from both sides, it was weird because Manchester City usually opens the scoreline early in most of their matches played this season.

The deadlock was broken in the 45+1 minutes of the first half, Rodri received a pass from De Bruyne and made a quick pass to Mahrez. Mahrez took a shot but the Leeds United goalkeeper blocked it and then Rodn quickly capitalized on the loose ball and played it into the goalpost and scored Manchester City's first goal of the night.

The second half was back and in the 51st minute Manchester City doubled their lead to two goals, Jack Grealish took the ball away from Liam Cooper from Leeds United who made a poor decision in executing the ball when it was on his feet, Jack Grealish with the ball on his feet ran down to Leeds United box and made a pass to Haaland who made no mistake and played the ball into the goalpost and dubbed the lead for his team.

Manchester City extended their goals to 3 in the 64th minute of the second half, Haaland received the ball from De Bruyne, and played a pass to Jack Grealish who quickly returned the ball to Haaland and Haaland played a shot into the goalpost and scored his second goal of the night. Haaland has now become the first player in the EPL to score 20 goals in 14 games this season, the guy is on another level and it won't be a surprise if he finishes with 40-plus goals in the EPL this season.

Leeds United got a consolation goal in the 73rd minute of the second half. Sam Greenwood swung in a cross from the comer to the box, and Pascal Struijk from Leeds United jumped up and headed the ball into the goalpost and the only goal for Leeds United in the match. The match ended and Manchester City took home all three points, it was a great game and I am sure Manchester City won't let their guard down for the rest of the season in other to win the EPL once again.

So guys this is where I say goodbye, thanks for stopping by, and have a good evening.
