Fermin Lopez Chasing the Euro and Olympics Dream

Well, Fermin Lopez definitely isn't having any ordinary year. Breakout into the first team at Barcelona, a call-up to Spain's national side, only a few get to do that. He has already won Euro 2024 with Spain but will now look to add Olympic gold in Paris.

Imagine holding a Euro and Olympic double in one summer, that is exactly what Fermin is looking for. Together with Alex Baena, he feels elated as they get set to face France in the Olympic final. This feels like something they always dreamed about but which was almost within their grasp.

Although Fermin did not play much in the Euros, he is really on fire at the Olympics. He has scored, assisted, and really shown up. One thing's very evident and that is, he can do what the team would want from him, whether it be a supporting role or just basking in stardom.

What's impressive, though is Fermin's attitude. He seems to be enjoying every bit of the time he spends on the bench or in action. He discussed how the Spain squad felt like a family and how players supported each other both on and off the pitch. That sort of team spirit is what makes a difference in big tournaments.

This time, Fermin and his boys are getting ready to face France, coached by none other than Barcelona legend Thierry Henry. But it won't faze Fermin, composed, focused and ready to give the best he can in this sure to be highly electrifying final.

For Fermin, this would be the capstone of an unreal summer, topped out by that gold at the Olympics. But whether or not they bring home the gold, Fermin has already written his name in the minds of people. You can rest assured however, that he will see to it that the dream goes through with a high degree of perfection.
