Today there were several matches for Serie A, as tomorrow is second round election day in several municipalities in Brazil. Most of the games took place at 4:30 pm and Flamengo faced Juventude at Maracanã. The 4 x 2 victory for Mengão]() was very important for the continuation of the competition.

Hoje teve várias partidas pela Séria A, pois amanhã é dia de eleições do segundo turno em diversos municípios do Brasil. Boa parte dos jogos aconteceu às 16:30 e o Flamengo enfrentou o Juventude no Maracanã. A vitória por 4 x 2 para o Mengão]() foi muito importante para a sequência da competição.
Sendo bem sincero, pensei que o Flamengo teria desistido do (Brasileirão](), pois quando a equipe ainda era comandada pelo técnico Tite, a impressão que ficava era de que o time estaria focado apenas nas Copas. Mas mesmo entre altos e baixos, a equipe rubro-negra se manteve em 4º lugar.
Com a chegada do técnico Filipe Luís, o ânimo e dedicação mudou da “água para o vinho” como a grande maioria das vezes com um clube de futebol. Mas com a eliminação da Libertadores, o Flamengo só tem duas competições para o restante da temporada. A Copa do Brasil a equipe está muito bem já que estar na final e no Brasileirão, as pretensões ao meu ver ainda é o sonho distante do título.

Logo no início da partida, o Flamengo utilizava a sua estratégia de marcação pressão e logo aos 7 minutos de jogo, Michael abre o placar. O robozinho levantou a torcida com o seu belo gol. Aos 21 minutos, o atacante Gilberto deixa tudo igual. O primeiro tempo parecia que a partida seria bem difícil.
Mas na segunda etapa, parece que Filipe Luís conseguiu motivar o time e logo aos 3 minutos do segundo tempo, Gabigol faz seu gol de pênalti. Depois de ter tido dois gols impedidos, um nessa partida e em outra, finalmente vimos o gol que tanto ele precisava fazer. Isso não esconde a péssima fase que ele estar. Ainda precisa melhorar muito o seu desempenho.
A partida de hoje provou que Filipe Luís fez certo em manter Léo Ortiz na zaga. O seu passe longo contribuiu com um dos gols do Flamengo e ele é bastante seguro na defesa. Sem dúvidas uma das melhores contratações para a temporada. Léo Ortiz pode ser aquele jogador decisivo e hoje provou que pode ajudar bastante a equipe para a reta final do Brasileirão.
Curioso é que por falar em defesa, não ouvi na narração do jogo ninguém falar que Rossi falhou no segundo gol do Juventude. O chute certeiro de Edson Carioca foi muito forte e o goleiro do Flamengo tentou segurar, mas a bola passou entre suas mãos. Apesar de que o Juventude teria encostado no placar, a equipe rubro-negra não se deixou abalar nesse gol do time gaúcho.
Fim do Jejum de Arrascaeta e Gabigol
Gabigol e Arrascaeta não marcavam há muito tempo, o atacante inclusive a última vez que ele balançou as redes foi em 20 de julho em Brasília. Como eu disse antes, sua fase não estar boa, porém esse gol deve motivar o Gabigol a demonstrar mais empenho. Seu contrato estar próximo de terminar e talvez o seu ciclo com o Mengão poderá terminar.
Já o Arrascaeta, que fez o terceiro gol do jogo, sua última vez que ele fez gol foi um pouco mais recente, em 12 de setembro. Se observarmos a partida de hoje, é nítido que precisamos muito do meia uruguaio em plenas condições, pois seu talento para comandar o meio de campo será fundamental para os próximos dois jogos da final da Copa do Brasil.
Gerson e Seu Futebol Impressionante
Gerson mais uma vez um monstro dentro de campo. O que dizer hoje do principal jogador da temporada e que deve ser não apenas continuar sendo convocado para a Seleção Brasileira, mas também tem que ser titular.
Ainda lembro quando ele estava em uma fase não muito boa, foi um pouco depois do seu retorno ao clube. A mídia inclusive falava muito mal de seu futebol e eu sabia que ele iria superar aquele período ruim. Gerson é craque e hoje estar mostrando o porque ele é capitão do clube. A faixa de capitão tem dado mais maturidade e também mais responsabilidade para o seu futebol.
Não é a toa de que quando a partida terminou ele sai do campo bem desgastado. A sua entrega dentro de campo é muito visível e a torcida e imprensa sabem que ele é hoje o pilar da equipe. Torço para que os demais jogadores também possam se sentir motivados ao lado de Gerson.
Outro jogador que tem tido algumas oportunidades com o técnico Filipe Luís é Plata, entrando no segundo tempo por volta dos 20 minutos, já era nítido que ele é um atacante interessante e o seu primeiro gol hoje que tenha sido o seu verdadeiro cartão de visitas. Não tenho dúvidas de que será mais um jogador a contribuir para a reta final da temporada.
A vitória de hoje ainda coloca o Flamengo na disputa do título do Brasileirão, sei que na verdade apenas Botafogo e Palmeiras estão nesse duelo para verem quem será de fato o grande campeão, mas do jeito que o futebol é tão louco e que matematicamente o Flamengo ainda possui chances, então eu como torcedor, terei que acreditar até o fim.
