Euro 2020 Saturday 1/4 Finals Previews

I am following the European Football Championship making previews on all matches while having some fun betting small stakes.

I'm in a horrible run right now basically taking a lot of coinflips with no real edge losing pretty much all of them. I guess it's the inevitable regression to the mean and I can't complain overall as I'm still up on the tournament. I will hit the break from here on out though and limit my bets to when I really see a good edge.

Czech Republic vs Denmark

Czech republic started out very organized against the Netherlands who got a red card early in the 2nd half. Czech is an annoying team as they just speculate on the counter and a goal or red card for the opponent is needed to potentially open up the match. Denmark has been quite good and should be the team with more quality. It took them 15 minutes to get going against Wales but have now scored 8 goals in their last 2 matches. The scenario that is most likely is for Denmark to take the initiative and move forward while not taking too much risks at the start of the match which should set them up to in a better position to create corners. I did take a tiny crypto bet on Denmark 1st Half -0.5 Corners @ 1.780 over at Betfury.io who have an edge on their odds over other bookies on their odds with this one.

Ukraine vs England

Ukraine managed to beat Sweden who played with 10 very late in extra time and have put up mixed performances so far showing signs that they are able to score against anyone while also being vulnerable in defense barely being able to keep clean sheets. England has played with solid defense in all their 4 matches also being quite conservative on the attack only scoring 4. The odds are pretty straightforward with England being the big favorite having good defense not yet having gotten a goal against while Ukrain hasn't looked too solid in defense. Basically I'm just going to wait it out seeing how it goes in-game as in these games, the big favorite rarely just pushes over the underdog. Ukraine also has the potential to score but It feels like a gamble given the strong England Defense. Most likely outcome 0-1 or 0-2. No Pre-Game Bets
