The Phillies ended up losing their final series of 2024 to the Nationals but they did get to win the final game of the year on Sunday so that was cool. The final out of the final game in particular was super cool as Kody Clemens recorded a fantastic catch, crashing into the outfield wall. Not only was the catch beautiful, but it was NEEDED as the Phillies were only up by three and the Nats had BASES LOADED. If Kody hadn't played superman, the game could have easily gotten tied up. Just a great play that will be fun Phillies trivia one day. I doubt Clemens will forget that play. I know I won't! We'll need players like Clemens and Weston Wilson big time in the playoffs.

Phillies 2024 Record: 95-67
95 is a satisfying number. Even 67 is ok I guess since I also like the number seven.
Can't believe it's over. 162 games. As I get older, I really appreciate how long the season is. I also like reading long books. Hopefully life lasts long too.
It's been a long season, but we need eleven more wins outta you fellas. Three in the NLDS, four in the NLCS and four in the World Series of course.

Wheeler and Nola looked sharp these final two games. We'll need Suarez to start figuring things out. Hopefully this rest will be big. Hopefully they are all just chilling on their couches watching the Wild Card teams battle it out.
I know I'm pretty pumped to watch the playoffs go down tomorrow! All day playoff baseball. Pretty amazing. The Phils will play the winner of the Mets-Brewers series.
