Roger Clemens' son Kody has been hitting well for the Phillies recently. Kody's only hit yesterday was insanely clutch as it was the GAME WINNER. I like what I'm seeing from Kody in general. The kid can rake.

Kyle Schwarber homered AGAIN earlier in the game which makes it six already in the month!
The game for the most part though was basically a really solid pitchers' duel. Cristopher Sanchez was very solid again. Six innings zero runs. Beautiful. The Rays had to use SIX pitchers but the Phillies clearly had trouble scoring themselves and only got their first hit very late in the game, which I believe was Schwarber's homer.
Ranger Suarez hits the mound again for the Phillies in tonight's contest. He seems to be more of a number four lately in my opinion, but he's been doing ok. Phillies see Taj Bradley for the Rays. Bradley is 6-10 in 2024. The weather in Philadelphia looks to be just a perfect late summer night. Clear, mid 70's.
The Phillies and Dodgers are tied for the best record in the league at 86-58. The Phils must keep pace and get wins!
